Is the body like a machine or not?

From Tushar Vora:

What if a person challenges the statement by Srila Prabhupada in “Beyond Birth and Death” on page 2 “This body is not like a machine. When a part of a machine breaks down, it can be replaced, and the machine will work again, but when the body breaks down and consciousness leaves the body, there is no possibility of our replacing the broken part and rejuvenating the consciousness.” – sometimes wear-and-tear or a severe stress (like collision or drop from a height) on the machine is so much that entire machine has to be scrapped, so therefore, death of a body is just like the entire machine being scrapped beyond repair. In other words, the argument is that the body is in fact just like a machine.
