Question: Don’t you like me? You haven’t answered my question for a long time.

Answer: This has got nothing to do with my liking or disliking anyone. Now all of you are devotees, and Krishna has considered my fortune to have an opportunity to serve you by sharing some of the knowledge which Krishna has kindly given me through His devotees. At the same time, I also have other services, and many of the questions that you ask require time, thought and research to answer. That is why there may be some delay in answering the questions, and to indicate that this delay is likely, I have put the QA tracker on not just the home page, but on every page of the site. That is not to show that I have answered so many questions, nor is it to say that your questions are necessarily going to take a long time, but it is just to indicate that there are many questions, and I hope and pray that in future there will be many other devotees who will also start answering questions on the internet, and that this way, the queries can become divided among many teachers, and in that way, the answers can comemuch faster. In fact, there are several devotees in various places who are using these question-answers for becoming resources in their own communities, and of course, they are supplementing these question-answers with insights they get from other places also. So especially in questions which require research further-generally, questions which require logical understanding, I try to answer them as quickly as possible. Questions which require actual research, I have to consider other devotee scholars or read some specific books, and then get back to you. So that takes time and the questions of that category will inevitably bedelayed, although I would like to answer them as soon as possible. From the last one month or so, I have been trying to answer five questions daily, consistently, in contrast with the few questions that I was answering a bit erratically earlier, and I hope and pray that I will be able to continue this on a regular basis so that slowly- I am getting two, three questions per day, so if I answer five questions per day, then slowly over a period of time the back log of questions will be cleared. But please don’t take this personally. If your questions are not answered, you can take it as a tribute to your intelligence, that you are asking such tough questions that it is taking me time to research and get the answers. But as I have mentioned in the QA guidelines, I take every question seriously; I value the questions and I want to answer all of them. So I will be answering, but it will take time. How much time, I cannot say. And some devotees have made the point that I have answered their later questions before their earlier questions, so I have explained that also in point number nine in the QA guidelines. I classify the questions in three categories: the questions whose answer I already know, I answer these immediately or as soon as possible, the questions whose answers require some thinking, I answer these when I get time to organize my thoughts, and the questions whose answers need some research, I reserve these questions for the time when I can get the time to do the necessary research. So that’s why especially if your question is falling in the third category, then it may take some time to get the answer. There are some devotees, senior devotee scholars, who also act as resources for me, whom I write and ask for answers; they also take time to respond, and sometimes even they have to do research to get the answers. And there are some younger devotees who are also good researchers; they also help in finding some answers, which require some factual information. That way I am trying to build up a team that will help make things faster. But if your answer gets delayed, please don’t take it personally, just understand that it is due to the limitations of one lazy and distracted conditioned soul who is somehow trying to serve Krishna.

Thankyou.
