How can we offer the results of karmic misdeeds to Krishna?

From Rahul Ranjan Mishra:

When we succeed, it is easy to give credit and offer the results to Krishna. But when we face failures, SP advises the devotee to understand and tolerate them as a consequence of our own past sinful misdeeds. Though we may be trying sincerely to practice Krishna conscious right now, we still fall sick and face failures both materially and spiritually owing to our conditionings. It seems awkward to offer results of one’s own sinful past misdeeds to Krishna when as a devotee, we should be offering whatever best we could to Lord. How to reconcile this in relation to Lord’s instruction in Bhagavadgita???

In our present condition, we are imperfect and have falliable senses, hence we are prone to make mistakes. The best we can do is the best we can do. But we must always strive to be better: better japa, better devotion, more loving in our intimate relationships and with others we encounter during our day. Let us be kind to ourselves and know that we are getting closer to Krsna with every passing day. We ra eon the winning side: Krsna takes care of his own.
