I believe the word you mean to us is “In Fact” instead infect.

When we begin the journey of Krishna Consciousness, there can be many oppositions and bitterness, especially at home and even among close friends and relatives. But patience is the only answer.
Imagine one fine morning you see your husband with shaved head and shikha repeatedly chanting in beads and spending more time in Iskcon obviously we will be bewildered. From my personal experience and experience of those around I have seen we need to be more patient. At the same time we should be focused on completing our rounds and praying fervently to Krishna to help us and soon things at home will change. But it is a time consuming process and we have to be very tolerant and patient.

Till the time husbands develop devotion one can cook onion and garlic but abstain from eating. I have seen many devotee women here in Bosnia whose husbands are meat eaters and alcoholic but still Mataji’s manage their devotional life. Slowly if we are fixed in our service while equally managing the house hold affairs environment in house will soon change. If not we should accept whatever mercy God has given.
