    Hare Krishna prabhu,

    Please accept my humble obeisances,

There are many instances where Prabhupada mentions in his purport as the world being like a dream. And, even in some places he makes a direct reference it to being illusory( past-time of Yayati, Jada Bharata , CHitraketu). How is this conception of a dream like existence different from that of Advaita’s(philosophy) concept of the world being illusory.

Note: The Advaita sees this world as being only relatively real which has to be transcended and ultimately has to be sublated. By saying that the world is like a dream, does it not point to the same end as the far as the conception of the world is concerned This is also distinctively different from that of the philosophy of Madhvacharya(whom we also trace a lineage) where he vehemently opposes this view.

Please let me know how I can understand this.

    Your servant,
