He also refers Himself to the second person in some places,”Surrender unto Him..”.
But That does not make Him impersonal, He is very much personal.
Was Bhismadeva Impersonal?
He is a Mahajana and respect that.
An impersonalist is bereft of the association of Krsna and Bhismadeva was able to associate with Him up till the last moment.
Bhismadeva was well aware who Krsna was but was acting like a devotee in a particular chivalry.
but the mayavadis hold the view that one can not speak of brahman for it would be limiting the Absolute so in that sense ‘tam’ may refer to the brahman beyond word, mind and senses which is the ‘tattva’ according to sankarites, please clarify.
