Yeah does fate and destiny refer to the same thing? usually the word fate has a negative connotation, that means when we say on a fateful day so that means on some day when some very bad thing happens, usually the word fate has a negative connotation so when we say it was fated to happen that means this particular bad thing was going to happen, something like that, whereas destiny is used more in a non-judgmental sense destiny can be positive, destiny can be negative but in terms of philosophy so in terms of usage, fate has a more negative connotation, destiny has a more positive connotation, but in terms of philosophical conception, fate and destiny broadly refer to the same thing they refer to the stockpile or the aggregate of our past actions for which certain reactions are going to come one or two more questions yes ma'am.
