Can we function at both spiritual and material levels in life?
So does being at the spiritual yeah does being at the spiritual level mean that you know we have no material desires but can we be at both levels be spiritual as well as be at the material level see as i explained that if i am at the ground floor i may not be able to see what is happening on the third floor but if i third floor i can see what is happening on third floor i can also see what is happening second floor i can also see what is happening on the first floor so when we are spiritual that does not mean that we reject the material rather we use the material in a way that is beneficial for us it's like you had a food now food at a level you could say is material it's not that because we have to become spiritual we have to give up food we take food but we take food that is healthy that is spiritually sanctified and we benefit from that so it's not that the material has to be rejected rather the dependence on the material is rejected so when we become spiritual that means we all need material resources for functioning in this world but we don't think that those are the source of my self-identity they are the source of my self-worth they define me rather i have my own self-existence and these things are what i use for functioning i'll function effectively function more productively actually when we are able to be at the spiritual level so living at the spiritual level basically means seeing things in proper perspective so the material is also valuable it is also important but we don't let it consume us in terms of it dominating us we see it for its proper function and use it for its proper function and when we become when we the more spiritual we become more spiritually conscious we become the more materially conscientious we become it is not that we become materially indifferent but rather and this is what i am doing is this good for me is this not good for me is this going to help me grow or is this going to stunt me we can evaluate that and make healthy choices we are not driven by something beyond us but rather we act according to our intelligence and our long-term interests so it's not that being spiritual means rejecting the material rather it means connecting the material with our ultimate purpose does it answer your question.
