So, previously, I rebelled against God because of the double standard of spiritual people.
My life was honest, but I suffered. Why? Yeah. One of the biggest causes of atheism is theists.
And the way people, religious people behave, that is often the cause of atheism. I think yesterday I mentioned that. Oh, God.
Did I mention that here? Oh, God, please save me from your preachers. I mentioned that. Sometimes it’s unfortunate that we meet people, people who are spiritual, but they are, they have double standards.
They don’t follow what they are doing. So, then we have to see that, you know, I have a relationship with Krishna. And I shouldn’t let anyone come in the way of my relationship with Krishna.
Even if there are some people who are having double standards, that doesn’t mean everybody is having double standards. There are people who, just like in every vocation, just because there are some doctors who engage in fraudulent practice, it doesn’t mean all doctors engage in fraudulent practice. In every vocation, there are people who, there are some people who are exemplary.
There are, the majority of the people who are just functioning. There is a doctor there for earning a living. They don’t have a big sacrificing spirit.
They don’t have like a medical mission of compassion to save sick people. They just want to earn money, but they also want to treat people. And there are some people who are out to earn money by poke or whacker.
They may complicate people’s diseases. And they just so that they can earn money. So, we have to know that in the devotees community also, there will be some people who will be in this category, who are out to get power and prestige through bhakti.
And there are others who are just there to practice bhakti because whatever it’s a part of the culture, they feel good. It’s a part of the social upbringing. There are some people who are really on fire for God.
We want to go close to God. So, we need to find out people in the first and the second categories. And we need to, especially we need to have some people in the first category who will inspire us.
And we can move onwards towards Krishnadaka Bhakti. Now, as far as our suffering is concerned, now, and we say we are honest, it is good to be honest from the material perspective. That means, whatever I believe, if I don’t believe in God, I don’t make a show of believing in God.
I’m not interested in spirituality. I don’t make a show of interest in spirituality. Yeah, that’s honesty at one level.
But another level, it’s honesty which is not based on reality. Because the reality, I’m not only the philosophy here, the reality is that we are at our core spiritual roots. So, we shouldn’t think that Krishna is particularly vindictive, that Krishna has caused the suffering.
In this whole world, we all get sufferings sooner or later. And Krishna orchestrates the suffering, sometimes in a way that helps us to come closer. So, we go away from him, and the suffering intensifies and impels us to come back to him.
So, we should see that rather than getting too much into why people acted in this way or why this thing happened. No, life is too short. Life is too short for being wasted in postmortem analysis.
Why this happened? Why that happened? Why that happened? We just move on in life. We will find that if we practice bhakti, we take shelter of Krishna, our life becomes happier. Now, we have to find out how to protest, take shelter of Krishna.
Which devotees to associate with, and how to associate with devotees, take shelter of Krishna. But if you just move forward, we find that we even get relief. And Krishna is always there with us.
Sometimes, he takes us towards him with pleasure from ahead. Sometimes, he pushes us towards him through pain from behind. But both ways, he is getting us towards him.
And if you see the guidance of Krishna pulling us, pulling or pushing us towards him, you see the hand of Krishna. You will always see that it is not just things are happening randomly, but there is a plan for us which we will pursue.
