Even if our consciousness can't be elevated it can be expanded suppose we are looking at the ground level of a skyscraper building if our vision shifts upwards we may be either impressed or intimidated to see how tall that building actually is physically climbing up to the top of the skyscraper might be impossible for us but just seeing majestic height can stimulate the desire to get to the top and later we might find an elevator that can take us there.
