All parents want their children to get married. Then wouldn’t Krishna the supreme parent want his children to become married and not take sannyasa?

So one should not give up one’s material duties To study, to work, to marry Why do some people spread Krishna consciousness Without marrying And say we show mercy to future generations In spreading spirituality It is our eternal duty But they don’t fulfill material duty first And after that spiritual duty Should one follow it by taking sanyas? Does Krishna The supreme father feel pleased When his child does not marry? Good question Firstly Now what Krishna wants Our relationship with Krishna Is complex It’s not just that We are his children But we are right now his estranged children Estranged means We are like the child who has Gone away from home So the child who has gone away from home The father’s first concern is not the child yet married First concern child come home Isn’t it? So what Krishna wants is that We should become devoted to him Now that does not mean That we have to renounce the world There are multiple ways in which we can become devoted So In the normal way the system is There are four ashrams Brahmacharya ashram, Grahastha ashram, Vyavana prastha And then there is sanyas So Brahmacharya ashram Is not just being unmarried Being unmarried Is just being a bachelor And that people who are unmarried They are simply dreaming about marriage So that is not Brahmacharya Brahmacharya means One who is trying to live in Brahma Pursuing Brahma Getting knowledge about Brahma Then after that a person can enter into Grahastha ashram And then live life responsibly And then gradually One person will retire And eventually sanyas renounced This is the normal process that most people follow Jagal Upanishad says Jagal Upanishad one of the Upanishad And it says that the moment One gets renunciation One should renounce the world So it says that if one feels inspired To renounce the world Then one doesn’t have to go through all These ashrams and ultimately renounce One can renounce at any stage So an alternative way that is described is Some Brahmacharis can renounce And they can directly focus on God And they live as Brahmacharis for a significant part of their life Eventually they take sanyas Such Brahmacharis are called as Nashti Brahmacharis So they live life normally This is also an authorized way in the Vedic literature So is it that they are neglecting Their maternal duties Not exactly Now we as devotees For example, now we are sharing Krishna consciousness We emphasize that If somebody wants to, somebody says I want to become a Brahmachari You do your education Complete your education, get your degree Then after that Get a job Gain some experience in The material world And whatever duties there are for parents There are sisters to be married Make sure the sister’s marriage is done properly The parents have no debts Make sure that the debts are paid And provide some financial security for the parents And after that If one feels inspired, one can join it One can join full time as a Brahmachari So what is the purpose of that The purpose is Taking up higher responsibility It is not rejecting the lower responsibility Just like If there is a war Now the sons The children love their parents But if there is a war They will go to the war front And they will fight It is possible that they may not come back Are they neglecting their duty towards their parents No, they are taking up a higher duty So similarly Today there is a situation where There is a war Against illusion and ignorance to be fought There is so much Widespread spiritual ignorance today And that spiritual ignorance is increasing more and more So there are spiritual teachers Who are needed And some people who feel inspired They can become dedicated to spirituality So it’s not Firstly, it’s not that everyone has to do that And it’s not that everyone Anyone will be forced to do that No one will be forced Now we are just getting introduced to Krishna Consciousness As you become more and more introduced You will find that Depending on your choice If you feel inspired to become Brahmachari You will be guided accordingly If you feel inspired to become Grahastha You will be guided accordingly We have forums for guiding both And those who want to become Grahastha Now initially what happens You may just see Brahmacharis But if you come to Mayapur, Mumbai, Pune You will see temples If there are 10, 15, 20 Brahmacharis Or few Brahmacharis If there are 50 Brahmacharis You will see that there are 2000 5000 Grahasthas there 5000 Grahasthas there So the majority of devotees will be Grahasthas And it’s ultimately depending on one’s choice So if one feels inspired To serve Krishna in a particular way One can serve Krishna And in no way Is it recommended That one neglects one’s material responsibilities Negligence is not recommended Rather You complete your responsibility in a reasonable way And afterwards if you feel inspired You can dedicate ourselves to serving Krishna And that is also recommended And most importantly Two points in this It is not It is not to pressurize anyone to do this According to authentic literature one can choose And renunciation is not done By being very responsible Neglecting one’s material responsibilities Rather it is done in a way To take up a higher responsibility For the sake of sharing Krishna’s message Does it answer the question?
