Are material objects less pure than us?

Are material objects less pure than us? It depends on what material objects we are referring to I don’t think we can call material objects as pure or impure.
Their effect on us is pure or impure. Material objects are simply not real objects they can be in different modes Why we are not getting happiness and purity from them? If they have been purer than us then obviously No. Can material objects be purer than us? It depends on what level I am at.
If somebody is alcoholic and that person develops a habit of reading regularly reading good literature then that habit of reading is in sattva guna and that person is right now in dhamma guna that person is in the mode of ignorance which is a lower mode. That habit is in the mode of goodness and that habit can elevate the person but if a person is in goodness in the brown bottom in a nice cultured family and then that person starts seeing obscene things now that person is pure and that activity is impure so we can’t say that material objects are necessarily more impure than us it depends on where we are at sometimes some material habits may also elevate our consciousness they won’t elevate our consciousness to Krishna but they can elevate us from where we are especially if we are in non-devotee association and there are no devotees and then we may choose association that is relatively pure there are some students who just talk about sensuality there are other students who are more interested in studies and then they talk about studies, they talk about career, they talk about good choices then that association we prefer that and even among material people we may find that we may be devotees but our consciousness may still be in rajoguna and there may be some people who may not be devotees but they may be more in satvaguna than what we are so we can’t make a blanket judgment that material things are less pure than us we have to see what our consciousness and what that particular material thing is and we can’t say that sense objects themselves are impure sense objects are just they are just objects and especially if you are referring to people, no it’s not that people are impure, say a particular sense object may induce impure desires within me but that is because of because of the contaminations within me, even among say people of the opposite gender they are also, somebody may be satvaguna, somebody may be rajoguna, somebody may be tamoguna we can’t categorically say that we are purer than some object or not purer than some object we have to see what is the level of what is the level of consciousness that we are at what is the level of consciousness involved in interacting with that object then the effect will be made on it
