Are our intuitions more likely to be coming from God when we are calm than when we are agitated?
Answer Podcast
Ok, when the intuitions that we get when we are calm are they always more likely to be correct than when we are agitated? possibly but not necessarily usually when we are in goodness at that time there is tamoguna, rajoguna, sattoguna and there is shuddha sattva so when we are in goodness it is easier to connect with pure goodness so it is easier to connect with Krishna so in that sense when we are calm, the illumination that comes may be coming from Krishna more likely but it is not necessarily because Krishna’s intuition can come anywhere it can come in a dream it can come there is an example of one scientist he was trying to solve some problem and he was just working working not getting any idea and once he was just in a crowded metropolis, he was trying to catch a bus and as he was catching the bus as he was climbing and holding on to the bus he suddenly got an idea he fell back from the bus and there it is a complex mathematical problem there is no way at that time he could have done the mathematics and got a conscious solution he was lying on the ground and people were around him, what happened to you? and he was delighted, yeah I got the solution so it may work out that Krishna’s guidance can come to us at any time but we should focus not so much on when we are getting the guidance but whether that guidance makes sense in terms of the light of Guru Sadhshastra and yes we all can evolve certain if we observe ourselves we will learn that ok in this situation I think more clearly in this situation my thinking becomes fuzzy and we can try to put ourselves in situations where our thinking is more clear and then take decisions or then seek guidance for taking decisions so that means if something is favorable for clear thinking we should use that but we should know that the intuitions they don’t necessarily depend on that they can come anytime and we should be open for that at all times does it answer your question? just one more question
