As we don’t have many commentaries on CC, how can we go deep into it?

The question is that we don’t have a commentary on Jain Charanam, like we have multiple commentaries on Bhagavatam. So how do we come to know more about the characters? Actually, yes, both Bhaktivinoda Thakur and Bhaktivinoda Thakur have commentaries on Bhagavatam. Prabhupada refers to Bhagavad-gita also.
It is proposed. Not Bhagavatam, Jain Charanam, sorry. So, those commentaries, they are a little Bengali.
And they will be translated, I think. They will say… For example, the Chaitanya Bhagavat commentary has already been translated. It is available.
So, for those who want to read, there are a lot of commentaries which are available. And specifically, Vinoda Hindu Charanam is one of the commentaries. Because, Chaitanya Charanam is the book of our tradition.
Bhagavatam is the book, which is a pan-Vedic book. And so there are many acharyas whose traditions are commented also. And that’s why when we study the commentaries also, we cannot just accept everything that every acharya has.
We have to study them carefully also. Even like, we can get Vaishnava acharya commentaries also. On the Bhagavatam.
But anyway, the important point is… Yes, we do not have any Chaitanya Charanam commentaries. But there are a lot of books by the Chaitanya Bhagavat commentaries in there. In fact, the whole Chaitanya… Bhagavatam, Chaitanya Mangal, Chaitanya Charit, Chaitanya Charanam, Mahakavya… There are many books are out there.
And if you read these books, you get a very much richer understanding. So, we can… If you want to go even to Goga Tattva, there are a lot of books that are there. And there are also few Chaitanya Charanam commentaries.
But the lack of those commentaries is primarily because… The… Our Sankruti has been 500 years old. And in 500 years itself, there have been so many ups and downs. So, as Sankruti has come longer, Prabhupada did not come to terminate the commentary and tradition.
He came to perpetuate the commentary and tradition. So, Prabhupada said, you might as well write reports to my reports also. So, in the future we will have many more books coming up.
On the different scriptures that we have been given by Shri Prabhupada. And also many scriptures that Prabhupada could not give to us. And that which we will have after which we can draw… Books from which we can deepen our understanding of the Shastra characters.
