Question from Can a devotee who longs to go to Goloka end up going to one of the Vaikunthas? Can souls from Vaikuntha go to Goloka? Answer The basic principle of spiritual advancement is faith in Krishna Love is nothing but faith in a fully mature and ripened stage so if we love Krishna so much that we want to go back to his kingdom then we should at least have the faith that Krishna is not going to do some mismanagement like a courier service that sends one package to go to one place to some other address Krishna loves us so much that he is present in our heart as a super-soul he accompanies us personally he escorts us even when we are having our independent adventures in mortal existence, adventures which end as misadventures so even when we are turning away from Krishna, Krishna accompanies us escorts us so when we want to return back to him will he abandon us? to just by chance end up somewhere where we are not meant to be? not at all Krishna loves us and he will naturally escort us back to where we belong, exactly at the right place so in the spiritual world our voluntary desires will naturally coincide with our original position in Krishna’s service by Krishna’s I mean any of Krishna in any of his form, Vishnu, Ram wherever how does this happen? this happens because the soul has a natural relationship with Krishna and by that natural relationship the soul is automatically attracted to Krishna in that way as soon as the impurities and the resulting material attractions that are there because of these impurities are removed so we should focus primarily on purifying ourselves right now that is our responsibility and if we purify ourselves then Krishna will take care of everything else, he will take us to where we need to be in the spiritual world if it is Vaikuntha Krishna will take us to Vaikuntha, if it is Goloka Krishna will take us to Goloka and we have to understand that can souls from Vaikuntha go to Goloka actually the souls are eternally happy in their relationship with Krishna we actually have been exposed to the Gaudiya Vaishnava Siddhanta which gives us revelation of Krishna in Goloka which is no doubt the highest manifestation of Krishna but Vaikuntha is also the spiritual world where everyone is eternally happy and to attain that is also an extremely exalted destination so it is not that the Vaikuntha is like a third class train and Goloka is like a first class train and all the people from third class are wanting to go to first class all of them are first class, all of them are places where people are eternally and completely happy so we will go where we are originally meant to be and where we will be, we will be perfectly satisfied in loving and serving Krishna eternally in that particular relationship, on that particular eternal abode there is no restlessness and dissatisfaction like we find in the material world because in the spiritual world Krishna manifests his all attractiveness in a perfect way in whichever form he is manifesting to attract his devotees to him eternally so this whole fixation bothering with our destination in the spiritual world is premature unnecessary and is indicative of either a lack of faith in Krishna or a bothering about things which we can do nothing about and which we don’t need to do anything about we need to just purify ourselves right now and Krishna will take care of everything so if Krishna wants and the soul strongly wants, it is not that there is a permanent ban between Vaikuntha to Goloka transfer it is not that the interplanetary boundaries are irrevocably frozen for all of eternity the point is that the souls are satisfied wherever they are if Krishna wants and the soul wants there can be relocation but that is never wanted because the souls are satisfied in their relationship with Krishna when in the Brihadbhagavatam when when Gopakumar is going from the material world to the spiritual world he goes to Vaikuntha then he goes to Dwarka he is dissatisfied in all these places of course he is delighted to be in the presence of the Lord but still he doesn’t feel fully satisfied and eventually he attains Goloka Vrindavan where he becomes fully satisfied but his dissatisfaction doesn’t make others dissatisfied the Vaikuntha Vasis or Dwarka Vasis are perfectly satisfied in reciprocating love and serving their Ishtate their cherished form of Krishna or Vishnu and they don’t feel any insecurity and they are completely satisfied so the transfer will not be required at all thank you
