Can ghosts see past and future?
Can ghosts see past and future? In general, the human desire to know the unknown often takes various channels.
That means that because we all want to know what the future has in store and people try to come to know about the future through various means. Some people may go to astrology. In science, it tries to predict things, it tries to tell us what will happen in the future.
So, some people even go to ghosts. That means they use planchettes or they may invoke some spirits of some people and they may use some black magic or whatever to try to contact ghosts and try to find out what the future holds for them. So, it is not necessary that ghosts have to know everything about the future.
As I said, different ghosts are different. Each ghost in its own capacity will depend on certain things. But sometimes it may happen that certain actions are meant to produce certain reactions.
And those reactions bring consequences. And those ghosts may become like mediums to inform us that this is going to happen. Be careful.
So, for example, if I am driving a two-wheeler and I have a habit of driving very fast. If I am told that there is an oil spill on the road over there, then I will be careful. And then my chance of slipping and falling will be much lesser.
But if I just zoom through the oil spill at high speed, then I am sure that I am going to have a fall. So, it is not that the ghosts have knowledge of the future exhaustively. But based on certain circumstances, they may know certain things about future about which they may want to warn their loved ones.
And sometimes such warnings do work out to be true. So, there are people who do communicate, who try to claim that they can communicate with ghosts. And by communicating with ghosts, they sometimes give knowledge about the future, which does at times work out accurately.
But the point is that it is not that they have capacity to know the future exhaustively. Just that certain things associated with them or associated with those whom they love, they might be able to know such things. But broadly speaking as devotees, we don't get too much into this field of paranormal dabbling.
Our focus is on serving Krishna. And whatever problems come in our life, if we stay faithfully fixed on Krishna, then we can find out. Then Krishna will take care of things.
But if we start getting too much into whether it is paranormal dabbling through finding out from ghosts or even through astrology, it all becomes very future-centric. Will this happen? Will that happen? But what we are doing is what is more important than what is going to happen in the future. So, that's why devotees don't get involved too much in these things.
