Can we get to higher consciousness only through near-death experiences or by other means?
So what exactly happens is it that we can get to the state of higher consciousness only through native experience or other times also it's possible definitely come to me two things are there here that just as with respect to our physical body different people have different capacities now some people can do a some people may be able to do they do maybe five or ten push-ups and they are tired some people can do 50 push-ups it's a different level of physical capacity some people have they have phenomenal memory some people have phenomenally poor memory it's different capacities so like that in some cases some people may have a capacity to project themselves out of their bodies either during deep meditation or sometimes just by conscious intention it's rare but it's possible so the important thing is that the soul is different from the body and the soul's consciousness is rooted to different levels should come sure, let me know what you say is that a can you read it? why is it so short? fine, I can manage is this either of those? the soul's consciousness is at the current level of realization or capacity for human projection into the sky I just have to listen to me can you see this? yeah, it's coming it's not limited, it's like the field I don't know how it keeps it all organized let's do that yeah, can you see this now? it's not very clear can you see this? let me expand this now it's gone off okay let the chart come once again yeah so this is so the soul its consciousness comes to the mind from the mind it comes to the body and from there it goes to the outer world so when the soul's consciousness comes to the mind and goes to the body in the outer world that is the awake state that is the state which we all are in hopefully then there is the state where the mind is when the soul's consciousness comes only to the mind but doesn't come to the body that is a dream state where physically we are not active but mentally we are active then there is the second this diagram is messed up but the third state is when the soul's consciousness doesn't even come to the mind just resting in itself that is the state of deep dreamless sleep where there's no activity but only of consciousness and then beyond that the soul's consciousness can be directed to the spiritual level which is called as a samadhi or trance state so these are all different levels of consciousness and during the dream state it is possible that the consciousness gets projected to a different level and it's also possible that the soul itself goes to a different level it's in dream one possibility that we just think our thoughts go there second is we go there so whichever way it is the point is that in the dream state itself we can get some understanding that we are not limited to our body because if our existence were limited to our body then at night when we're dreaming the body is inactive and even though the body is inactive we ourselves are still active the body is not experiencing anything but I am experiencing something therefore I the experiencer is not limited I'm not limited to the body so that means just by sleeping and dreaming we can get this inference that there is something more to be in the body but for understanding what that is sleeping alone is not enough for that I have to wake up study philosophy and practice meditation but meditation or consciousness just doesn't stay stuck at the subtle level the mind level it rises to the spiritual level so some of us who have had experiences like this of some aspect of our life that is that is that is not limited to the body it's a special experience which we have had and if we direct our thoughts further so what happens by that we start understanding there's something something more to life that I'm not aware of and that way we can explore more what that is so it's possible for the soul to exist separate from the body not just during the experiences but also during other experiences such as in dream state or by conscious intention also one can experience one's identity as separate from the body and the whole purpose of spiritual growth is to gain more and more of this insight this realization yeah I was going to answer that okay.
