CC daily 34 – M 4.129-133 – The extraordinary is not a license for neglecting the ordinary

So till now the deity had not mentioned, Mahagopinath has not mentioned the name of the sanyasi, just mentioned sanyasi, so how will the pujari even recognize, now the pujari may recollect oh there was sanyasi over who had come today, but sanyasis, many sanyasis come and go and even if a particular sanyasi in the village, how will he find that sanyasi, the Lord gives more specific direction, gives a name over it, there is in the marketplace he is sitting, at that particular place take this kshira, quickly go and give it to him, so the Lord is telling him the name of the person and telling him the place also and he is telling kshira urgently, now if Krishna has personally intervened in somebody's life and has done something miraculous and then wants us to play a part, we would consider it a great honor and anyway we want to do it very quickly, but here what do we do, here actually, here he is telling go quickly, shigra, go quickly, now, so as he watched this dream and he saw this, pujari woke up immediately, and the pujari thought about it, what a wonderful dream I have had, is it really true, but anyway the Lord has given me some instruction, I can't take any chances, I have to go and check, so now, but still even if it is night, it is not that the altar can be entered into just very casually, one has to be very careful when entering into the altar, so, he took a bath, he opened the door of the altar and went inside, so, he opened the multiple levels of doors that were there and he came inside the temple also, now, the action is being described in detail, so, so, just below inside the curtain, there are multiple levels by which the privacy of the Lord is protected, so, first is in the altar there is a curtain and for the altar itself, there is a door and often for the temple also there is a door and sometimes for the altar, there are multiple doors, so, he opened all the doors and then he parted the curtain also and then he found, so, below at the foot of the curtain, just as the Lord had told, Lakshmi was there, now, again we see that all such a miraculous thing has happened, the miraculous, the extraordinary is not a license for neglecting the ordinary, so, see, he just takes a bath and only then goes into the altar and even after he comes out, he finds the kheer, it is not that he, oh, let me go and find the sannyas and give the kheer, he is still conscious of the rules of deity worship and sternly he cleans the place, cleans the place very carefully because any food that is offered to the Lord, normally, when food is placed at a particular place, that place is said to become contaminated and it has to be cleansed, so, he cleansed it, and he took the kheer and then he went out, so, he closed the door and the temple was in one part of the village, so, he went right into the village, now, the Lord had said that Madhavpuri is sitting on a marketplace, now, which marketplace, he did not know, so, Shiralaya taking the kheer, he went to various marketplaces and he started calling out, Madhavpuri, Madhavpuri, Madhavpuri, where are you, where are you, Madhavpuri, he was calling out, we imagine the scene, the kheer was offered in the Sandhya Bhog and Aarti had got over and he himself had gone to sleep, so, probably other villagers had also been either sleeping or about to sleep and the sound of somebody calling in the middle of the night or in the night itself was quite conspicuous, but such a momentous event that he did not mind calling out at night because after all the Lord is the master of the village and of the whole world, so, if the king sends a message or king wants to announce something, then the soldiers will not hesitate, then the announcers will not hesitate to announce, similarly, when the king of all kings, the Lord wants to announce some or do get something done and getting that thing done requires calling out, calling out loudly and actually, the Pujari is doing that, calling out loudly and then, Ksheer Lahey, please take this Ksheer, Yaranama Madhavpuri, whoever names is Madhavpuri, please come and take this Kheer, Tomalagi Gopinatha Ksheer Kailachuri, Tomalagi for your sake, Gopinatha has Ksheer Kailachuri, for your sake, Gopinatha stole the Kheer, he was calling out Madhavpuri, Madhavpuri, but somebody might be suspicious, you know, who is calling me out at night, if somebody calls out in the daytime in their safety and security, we may want to go out of our house or wherever we are of the security, out of the sanctity, out of their security, check out who it is, but if somebody is calling us at night, we will be a little careful, so like that, he was careful here, he thought that, he thought that maybe Madhavpuri may not respond, so normally, when somebody calls us, we will ask, what is the purpose, why does somebody want to talk, so he called out the purpose also and calling out the purpose, it was such an extraordinary announcement, Tomalagi Gopinatha Ksheer Kailachuri, that for your sake, Gopinatha has stolen Kheer, imagine if somebody starts, as in temple community, the Pujari starts running around, oh, who is so and so, some person's name he calls out and he says, you know, Tomalagi Gopinatha Ksheer Kailachuri, it would create a sensation, you know, what is firstly the sensation is, the Deity has done something extraordinary and secondly, the sensation would be, who is the extraordinary person for whom the Deity has something like this, has done something like this, so extraordinary, so the wave of sensation would spread throughout the community and that's what has happened in Ramuna also, so as he called out, the Pujari himself was thrilled, he was thrilled to be a part of the Lord's pastime, he was thrilled to be of service to the Lord and of service to the great devotee for whom the Lord had done such a special pastime, so he wanted to see that devotee and offer the Kheer to the devotee, fulfil the desire of his own, of the Lord's heart and fulfil his own heart desire, his heart's desire also to complete the service which the Lord has given him, so, Ksheeralahaiyarannam Madhavpuri, who wears name Madhavpuri, whoever's name is Madhavpuri, please come, please come and take this Kheer, take this Kheer, now is it possible, now somebody, if somebody goes around and says, whoever is this person, Mr. XYZ, please come, for you, Mr. ABC has stolen this, now we may think, hey, I don't want to get involved in this, if somebody has stolen something, then I don't want to get involved in it at all and if somebody has stolen this for me, then I may get implicated in that crime, so better I stay away from this business, but actually when the Lord steals, whatever he does is supremely moral, whatever he does is supremely good, when we do something which is immoral, that is because we have some selfish desires and those desires make us do those wrong things, but when the Lord does something, the Lord has no selfish desires and whatever he does is for the good of everyone, that's why when the Lord steals, that stealing is auspicious, that is not illegal or immoral, Krishna is trans-moral and trans-legal and whatever he does is for the benefit of everyone and thus Lord stealing is not something which is embarrassing, but it is thrilling and that's why he's openly announcing it, for your sake Gopinath has stolen the Kheer and please come and take this Kheer which the Lord.
