From: pritha saha
hare krsna.my question is:in your audio lecture you have mentioned that if a person does average good karma, then a person goes to pitriloka where his ancestors resides.if the person’s grand-father or grand grand father got transferred to swargaloka or any other planets according to his karma then is that loka becomes the pitriloka for that person or the pitriloka is completely an another planet??what will be the pitriloka for that person i mentioned earlier?please explain.
Thank you. Question from Preetha Sahamata ji In your audio lecture you have mentioned that if a person does average good karma then that person goes to Pitra Loka where his ancestors reside. If a person's grandfather or grand grandfather got transferred to Sarva Loka or any other planet according to his karma does that Loka become the Pitra Loka for that person? Or is Pitra Loka an entirely different planet? What will be the Pitra Loka for the person that I mentioned earlier? Please explain.
Answer? Pitra Loka is a specific planet and it is not that for different people depending on which planet their ancestors have gone the definition of Pitra Loka will change accordingly. It is not that the place where my ancestors have gone is Pitra Loka for me and the place where other ancestors have gone is Pitra Loka for others. No.
Pitra Loka is a specific planet in the cosmological hierarchy and people with average karma normally go there. Average good karma. So that planet is fixed.
And if somebody's grandfather or great grandfather has gone to a heavenly planet then that doesn't mean this person has to go there. This person will go wherever his karma takes him. So if he has done average good karma then he will go to Pitra Loka.
If he has done above average good karma he may go to Sarva Loka. And if he has done devotional karma that means a karma, he has purified himself completely then he will go beyond Pitra Loka, beyond Sarva Loka, beyond this whole material world to the spiritual world.
