Even if we cover the tracks we make externally… Gita 16.12
Hare Krishna even if we cover the tracks we make externally the tracks we make internally still cover us for all of us when we are impelled by the impurities within us to sometimes do some wrong things and after we do those wrong things we often cover our tracks we try to find out how we can, how our wrongdoing doesn't come to be known to those people who can discipline us to whom we are meant to be accountable and especially in today's world of internet with such easy access to all kinds of inappropriate content we are often tempted to do wrong and then there are various ways in which we can try to cover up our wrong so even if we cover our tracks the tracks we make externally that means we go in a particular direction and some footprints some clues, some hints are left over there, even if we cover the tracks we make externally but that doesn't mean we get away with it because actually everything that we do it also creates tracks internally and what are those internal tracks that is actually we become those impressions are created within us and those impressions come as propositions and when those propositions come then they the more impressions we make the more forceful the propositions become and the more forceful the propositions become the more difficult it is to resist them and thus we become bound, we become attached, we become addicted the Bhagavad Gita points to this in 1612 when it says we become bound by hundreds and thousands of desires and these desires can be so strong and overpowering that they enslave us and we have our conscience we have our ethical boundaries but these shackles of our desire they drag us across those boundaries and degrade and even destroy us therefore we need to soberly understand that we can never get away by doing wrong even if we get away externally we don't get away internally and that's why we need to make a serious concerted effort to invoke the presence of the all pure divine Krishna in our hearts by practicing bhakti yoga and by that divine connection gradually decrease and then drive out all impurities from our hearts thank you Hare Krishna.
