Hare Krishna even though we have more enemies than we realize we also have more friends than we realize suppose we are involved in a confrontation with someone if we realize that more people are against us than we thought we will be discouraged simultaneously if we realize that there are more people with us than what we thought we will feel encouraged and our daily life and also to make a battle we often face many challenges that we need to determinedly fight against while facing many challenges we sometimes realize that we have enemies inside us just as an enemy works to defeat us something inside us sabotages us and when we does find ourselves doing things that sabotage ourselves it can be very discouraging Gita wisdom helps us to avoid the discommitment by explaining that actually we have our own mind and many impurities in the life which are like our enemies so rather than simply becoming discouraged we need to become alert about our inner enemies and learn to guard ourselves against them if the thought of having inner enemies that may ambush us at any time alarms and disheartens us we can take heart by remembering another vital Gita truth that we also have resources hidden in our friends these include our intelligence and most importantly the source of all intelligence, Krishna he is present in our heart as the super foe and is our perpetual perennial friend and guide when we connect with him with a prayerful service attitude we find that he empowers us to choose wisely Bhagavata states that the Ramayana says that he gives us the intelligence to choose wisely and come to him when does he give us that intelligence when when we practice bhakti devotedly he gives us the intelligence to come to him so he is our divine game changer who can empower us to resist and reject our mind's many machinations though our inner enemy can degrade us distract us by making us do things that are self destructive Krishna's guidance can protect us from such self destructive actions therefore rather than worrying about how many inner enemies we have and how powerful they are we can focus on how we have supremely powerful inner friend and thus stay entering instead of becoming distracted Thank you.
