chanting chanting chanting chanting chanting meaning meaning means the venue what ever purpose is served by a venue means water everywhere like water flows everywhere like the river or to the flood At that time, whatever purposes might have been served by a well are all served by a river.
Similarly, whatever purposes served by a river are all served by Brahman Sri Janata. So the word Brahman Sri Janata can mean two things. It can mean a Brahmana who knows the purpose of the Vedas.
Or it can also mean a one who knows Brahman. But the ultimate purpose of the Vedas is to know Brahman. So Brahman Sri Janata can be a knowing Brahmin or a knower of Brahman.
Either way it is the same thing. So here why is Krishna telling this? Because in the ancient times the Vedic culture was like this only. And following the Vedas was very important.
So now when Krishna tells Arjuna to go beyond the Vedas. He says what I will use the Vedas. What I will use the Vedas if I go beyond the Vedas.
That means I don’t follow the Vedas. I follow something higher. Won’t I lose something by that? That is the question Arjuna is going to ask Krishna.
Whatever you might have got by the Vedas you will get that and more. So there are different Vedic scriptures for different prescriptions. Okay we don’t have a child.
Son you can do this. Don’t have wealth you can do this. You don’t have wealth you can do this.
But all these can offer us small small quantities of happiness. However the fulfilment of our heart’s longing for devotion. When our longing for devotion is fulfilled.
At that time we get a far greater happiness. There is a saying. More tears are sought because of prayers that are fulfilled than prayers that are unfulfilled.
More tears are shed because of fulfilled prayers than because of unfulfilled prayers. I will give you an example for this. Who sought more tears because of fulfilment of prayers than of unfulfilled prayers? Chitra Ketu Maharaj.
Actually a very profound one. More tears are shed because of fulfilled prayers than because of unfulfilled prayers. It is I pray for something and it doesn’t happen.
I feel so bad. Oh! God did not fulfil my prayer and I get tears. But when I pray for something and it gets fulfilled.
And after that also it creates so many complications. It creates so much. Especially if I get a pleasure and I lose it.
Then it is so much more difficult. Often especially when there is a material consumption of religion. When you ask for material things to go.
At that time more tears are shed because of fulfilled prayers than because of unfulfilled prayers. So here Krishna is telling that even if you feel Arjuna that you will lose something. Don’t worry.
You will not lose anything because you will gain something much higher. And when you gain that higher thing then you won’t feel the loss of anything. So in this section from 14 to 46 there are 7 verses.
So essentially what does Krishna compare? Karmakand and Karmayoga. So now let us move forward. Now after comparing Karmakand and Karmayoga.
Now what are the subject points of comparison here? Temporary versus eternal. At the first comparison. Within bones versus beyond bones.
For less intelligent people versus more intelligent people. Requires. Less intelligent people versus more intelligent people.
So Krishna has compared Karmakand versus Karmayoga. And it gives small results like a well. Versus complete results like a river.
So in the traditional Indian society. Purity was considered important. Just like in our daily routine.
If we have a sink in the kitchen. We will use it for washing the vessels that are in cooking. Normally we do not use it for washing our own contaminated vessels.
And certainly we won’t use the kitchen sink for say bathing and cleaning the bathrooms. We won’t use it for washing clothes. So there is a standard of purity.
By which different things are used for different purposes. Similarly different wells are used for different purposes. Certain wells are for bathing.
Certain wells are for washing utensils. Certain wells are reserved only for the deity paraphernalia. Paraphernalia, washing and things like that.
So but when we come to a river. Because the river always has to be flowing. River is considered here.
And everything can be done with the river. Because one river can fulfil everything. Similarly Krishnacharya wants to know the ultimate purpose of the Vedas.
And all purposes should be fulfilled. Now till now Krishna has seen enigmatic things. He has not yet told what is the ultimate purpose and how it is to be fulfilled.
He has given some hints. He would want to give you some toy alphabet. And you would have to give it every day.
Then he took my suggestion and he said that. You will not only become free from sin. But you will get no karmic bondage.
But what ahead of that. What ahead of that is not yet known. So now we come to one of the most.
One of the most misused verses of the Bhagavad Gita. karmanye vadita raste mam parne shuddha darchana mam karmanye durgol mam te santos tu dharmani If somebody wants to use this verse. He is refusing to justify work with worship.
The first fragment of the verse is good. It is karmanye vadita. You have a right to do your work.
But if you look at the few words. It is actually profoundly confusing. Four points I will say in this verse.
Each line that you will say is still wrong. karmanye vadita You have a right to do your work. mam parne shuddha darchana The next three lines are.
mam not not not You don’t have a right to do your work. This itself is not applicable to the world. People expect I have a right to do my work.
And I don’t want to do it. This is the whole idea of gambling. Or playing around in the stock market.
Or now even they have gambling with the certificate matches. The idea is that. Those who are gambling in match fixing or whatever.
They are not actually doing any work. The idea is I don’t want any work. And I want the results.
So I don’t have the right to do my work. Or if at all I have to do my work. I have to do the least work to get the maximum result.
I don’t have the right to do my work. You can do your right to work. But no right to the results.
And then. In some situations. We may be excess.
We may be excess acts. For example. If we are a part of a team.
And. When the team wins. We may not be celebrated as a champion.
But we know we contributed. So. I don’t get the direct result.
But there are some situations in life. Where even if the result is not coming. The joy of having contributed.
The joy of being a part of something wonderful. It includes selfless work. That means they will do simple things.
Yes. Krishna said third time. Don’t think that you are the cause of the result.
First thing is you don’t have the right to the result. Second thing is you don’t have the right to do. Thinking that you are the cause of the result.
Somebody didn’t like that. Imagine that. I do a work.
You pay me for it. And nobody is going to glorify me for it. Even I am not allowed to think that you did the work.
I shouldn’t do the work. And last line Krishna says. You cannot be attached to it.
Don’t become attached to it. So what would be the logic of this? Certainly. Krishna is not telling here.
Don’t bother about this. If Krishna had not bothered about the result. Then Krishna would not be trying to persuade Arjuna to fight.
Krishna is concerned about the war. And he is concerned about the result. Obviously that’s why he said.
So there is a difference between. Not being concerned about the result. And not being attached to it.
What is the difference? Explain this. Arjuna crossed through this. Not equal to it doesn’t mean.
Arjuna is quite cruel. Not being concerned. What is the difference? As devotees.
If we are doing the service. Let’s understand from our experience. That we do the commitment.
So we are not as sadhakas. But we are not as Muslims. So please say.
We are doing for Krishna. You can be saying. I don’t care.
I am not supposed to be attached. So I put salt in any quantity. Sugar in any quantity.
I eat for any amount of time. And. It is for Krishna.
It is for Krishna. So. That will mean.
Not being concerned. Not being concerned. So not being attached.
Basically. I recognise. There is a higher power.
In God. I am not the producer. The whole central message.
Of this talk is that. You are not the producer. You are not the only producer.
So. We have to do our part. Even after doing our part.
But. We have to do our part. Like this childhood age.
But. We also recognise that. I am not the producer.
I am not the producer. So basically this verse. Talks about.
The. Action. With awareness of.
The human divine factors. Human divine factor means. That I understand that.
Result will be not just by my efforts. But by my efforts. And Krishna’s efforts.
Krishna’s verse is for a devotee. Krishna’s verse is for a devotee. But who am I? So basically.
What this verse is telling us is. That don’t think that you are the producer. Because.
It implies that. There is a higher purpose. Actually.
If I am not getting any result. From an action. Then why should I perform the action at all.
Is there nothing for me to gain by it. There is nothing. What we get is.
If no result. And no credit. If no result.
And no credit. C refers to the first part of the verse. D refers to the second part of the verse.
So A, B, C, D. Which we refer to fragments of the verse. 2.47, A would be. Karma and Nevalikas.
2.47, C would be. Mahakarmakal Vedas. 2.47. 2.47, A, C. What are they getting? No result and no credit.
Then. What is our gain? Actually. We grow in wisdom.
And devotion. There is a difference. What happens is.
We grow in wisdom and we grow in devotion. How does that happen? Even in worldly sports. People say that.
If we learn more to defeat. Then we get success. We enjoy success.
But when we get defeated. We get defeated. And we learn more to defeat.
Then we get success. So sometimes. As students.
The habit may be to. Just. Father the information.
And we are getting more and more. And take marks. And go for it.
And that will work most of the time. But that will not mean. We have nothing to learn.
It takes a lot. Analysis. And.
Systematic thinking. So take one sentence. When I study.
Sometimes when I study. Some students study throughout the year. And then they give the exam.
And other students. They study till the last minute. Till the end of the day.
And both of them get the same marks. Or the person who studied the last few days. He will get better marks.
So from the point of view. The results. He has got.
He has fared better. But from the point of view of. Growth in his study.
Growth in his study. So I tell you. Some students study throughout the year.
So here. The soul. This is the body.
And the soul is acting through the body. To get a particular. To know a particular activity.
Now if the soul gets the result. And the soul attaches to the result. Then that action.
Increases the volume. Between the soul and the body. For example.
If somebody plays a cricket match. And he wins. What happens.
That the big majority of that. It increases the volume. It increases the activity of the country.
Of the team. Of the sport. I am a man.
I am a cricketer. I am an engineer. Or whatever.
So whenever. You get a particular person. And enjoy that particular study.
That experience. And enjoy him. Increases the volume in the body of the soul.
Now. If we do the action. Without.
Being attached to the result. Without being attached to the result. Then at the first level.
We actually do not. Increase the volume. In the body of the soul.
But then. If I am doing the action. Without.
Being attached to the result. Then what will be the motive for my work. Isn’t it.
I was once. And I was expensive. To take the amount.
So I was. We are not the doers. Then.
Certain questions come in our mind. Can you tell what are the questions. Who is doing this.
That was the question. One devotee was. So he asked.
Why should we do anything. Laughing. If we are not the doers.
Then why should we do anything. But the point is. We feel I will not do anything.
But when the time for. We love to do it. But when the time for eating comes.
We don’t do it. So we can’t just not do anything. So.
Who is the doer. We will come to a little later. But at this point.
We have to. If I am going to do something, there must be some motivation. Nobody can hold me down.
So, for that to work, we have to do it. We need to convert somebody to a proper karma yogi. So, we relate to the yogis and the bodhisattvas.
When I was a kid, I used to read the Bhagavad Gita. I used to read the Bhagavad Gita. I used to read the Bhagavad Gita.
It was so much exciting. Sometimes, we would go to a place called Dhola and do sit-downs. Nobody asked for Dhola.
And we would do sit-downs in Dhola. We could do sit-downs in Dhola, but Dhola was not open. So, we did not want to be a teacher.
So, we did some other things. We did some other things. So, that’s what Dhola is for.
It includes hand-to-hand communication. When you go to America, you stay in America, not a bed of roses. So, if you are the first one to cross, you will be the first one to cross.
When we first lost his disciples, we went away. Then, when we got back, my Adi teacher would not let him make this decision. He would have to stay in the golden camps.
Maybe in the backlands. So, actually, this is a myth. The Jyotish information group, Ardhi Lai’s and Anil Bhatt’s, the two spiritual teachers, the Bhatt’s and Anil Bhatt’s, they had put this in a situation.
Anil Bhatt was not a Jyotish teacher. Jyotish was not a Jyotish teacher. Jyotish became, from the point of view of the world, sort of an unknown.
Unknown is just one of the But out of those two chakras, he does not understand Saurabh. In New York, he is not a spiritual person. Why is he not a spiritual person? Because everyday he was chanting this.
Everyday he used two chakras. Because everyday he was in an association with Aseer. Everyday he was reading the holy books.
Everyday he was looking at the holy books of Krishna. So this is devotion to Krishna. Now the only question was, what is the world we live in? So Krishna’s point of view, Gopala’s point of view is because Gopala is doing everything that he could for Krishna.
That means enough of devotion to Aseer. But actually an eternal success is an external success. The external success is meant to serve his pure desire.
So this is what we expect. When we are in a programme, we become connected to Krishna consciousness. We become devotees.
That is the external result. External success is the material result of our service. Manifest.
Internal result is our relationship with Krishna flourishes. Service is what I think refers to the relationship. So when people use this, actually it means that I see that our relationship with Krishna flourishes.
Our relationship with Krishna is not something abstract. The thing that actually we need to look at is our attachment to Krishna consciousness. We experience the reciprocation of Krishna consciousness.
And over a month, it becomes more. In a month it starts. In a week it ups and downs again.
So from the internal point of view, Gopala always exists. From the external point of view, Gopala’s existence is not his existence. His existence is his own existence.
So every time we are doing his service, when Krishna is pleased by that service, and Krishna is surely pleased by our service, we go back to him. Then we have eternal success. Now most of the time, the ideal situation would be that the external nature will play, the external nature will go away.
That means that, I think sometimes we say that, some graphometrical analysis would say that, the natural nature is, how we understand our Krishna life, how we understand our Krishna life. Isn’t it? We say that. But then in Gopala’s last, there are, if you say that Krishna consciousness is the best, then why is it that so few people are doing it? There are so many other organisations, there are millions of people are doing it.
Gopala first said that, if you are accepting a diamond, you do not find a pure outside diamond. Immediately you are going to find a rich one. You will find a rich pure outside diamond.
Immediately you will find a rich one. So what do you see? Now sometimes, in the egoism of the celibates, they do not necessarily come to a conclusion. Paramahamsa said that, if we do ourselves nicely, and if we get paid, and if we delight in working, if we get paid but not paid, if we get paid but not paid, what happens is, some consciousness, that needs to be awakened.
So if I do selflessness, and if I am fast in the limelight, and everybody qualifies me and I delight in the limelight, then what is it that I am doing? I am only consciously doing this. I am absolutely doing this. I am solely doing this.
And then there is my true consciousness. In fact, Krishna Maharshi did not elevate that much. So sometimes, the worldly desire works against our internal desire.
Sometimes, our obsession, our infatuation, with getting the external desire, makes us oblivious to our internal consciousness. Somehow I have to just get rid of it. I have to get rid of that.
I am not doing that. I am not even doing that. So what is the reason you don’t get rid of this? That, you just focus on your own desire.
Understand that, firstly, you don’t have a right to the external desire. That’s a fact. I am just trying to understand this.
That, and you don’t have a right to the result. So, I don’t have a right to the result, if I go to the solution, actually it’s not that I have a right to say, I have a hundred ideas, stupid mind, I do not have a right. It’s a thing.
Don’t think that, you are the distributor. Because what happens, we think we are the distributors. Many times, next day, we find that, we go and nobody takes the question.
And then we realise, I thought I was a distributor. But suddenly I realise that, actually, I am just, completing all this, as if we, so actually, Krishna said this, the solution, the purpose of this class is, the obsession with the result, or the obstinacy to worship, it will do this. On the other hand, I want the result, and I can get the result.
Both these thoughts, they distract us from our mission. And therefore, we give up. On the other hand, the last option is there.
Okay, you should not do the work on me. But if you don’t do the work on me, then where are we expressing our emotion? Isn’t it? So I do the surveys, and somehow I show some emotion. After doing the surveys, I also assume I have given my, non-important system to the world.
Surely, we want the result. We want the result for Krishna. So yes, when we go for the resolution, we want to have an emotional result, from Krishna.
We understand that, Krishna is blissful, not less than Krishna is blissful. Krishna is blissful, but he is trying to be blissful. So even if the results don’t come, if we have endeavoured, Krishna is blissful.
Krishna is blissful. And actually, can you understand this? Can you understand what I am talking? Then it is actually, very degrading and empowering. Why is it degrading and empowering? You see, external success, is what the world sees.
And we are judged, by that which is not, in our control. There is a difference. It would be, we are judged by that, in our control.
If I do my search, in the right consciousness, then irrespective of whether, the result comes or not, I make a mistake. But you don’t like it. Irrespective of how much I endeavour, if the result doesn’t come, I don’t get anything.
That’s why actually, you can understand the background, that Krishna must be good. Then it becomes a principle. Then you see, through all this, you understand that, every single action that I am doing, is contributing to my spiritual development.
It’s contributing to my, spiritual development. In material life, there are some important needs. I may study philosophy, writing, etc.
The important moment is, the exam. If the exam, I don’t do well, then I do well. But, for example, every single moment, that I am trying to cultivate, Krishna consciousness, I need to study.
There may be certain important moments, which have been called, we say we have to do important class, or we have to go for, our important ceremonies. But it is not that, those moments are the important. In material life, certain moments are the important.
But in devotional life, there is no important moment. Every single moment, that we can concentrate, is important. Certain moments are more important, than others, because they are important.
But all moments are contributing, to the growth of our relationship. That’s a, I am sure you have produced, a few photos across, Prabhupada. This is actually, Prabhupada was teaching, the same enthusiasm, whether he was teaching, thousands of people, or whether he was just sitting, at home, with a few guests.
Prabhupada was reaching for, Krishna’s attention. That’s how, this verse is telling us, don’t let, greed, obsession with external success, distract you, from your inner success. Now, one more point, I want you to know, the next verse comes.
Is, the question, is external success, a reflector on internal success? That means, that as, Bhakta Swarup said that, the greatness of Vishnu, lies only in, how near the Vishnu is. So can we go, the other way, and say that, how this person, gets loved and devoted, that must be, must be a great thing. It is not necessary.
If A leads to B, that doesn’t mean, when B is present, A has to be. So, logically speaking, if A leads to B, then, if B is present, then we can say, A is present, only when, A is the only cause of B. Is it clear? It’s logic. It’s very simple logic.
See, if A leads to B, so if B occurs, then must A have occurred? If only A, A is the only cause of B. If A is the only cause of B, then, you can say that, when B is present, it must be present. That means, or, that somebody gets very good marks in AC. So, if a student, assume this is for equality, student studies nicely, gets good marks in AC.
Somebody has got very good marks in AC. Therefore, he must be a good student. Is that true? No.
There can be other causes. There can be other causes. Maybe he has copied.
Maybe it was just a lucky gambit. He studied a little bit and same thing, gave the exam. Or maybe, he bribed the teacher.
Whatever. There are so many possibilities. So, if A leads to B, then, that doesn’t mean when B is present, A has to be present.
So, what Bhakti Sahasranama has said is that, the test of a Vaishnava is not the commonality of a Vaishnava. If a Vaishnava is truly a Vaishnava, you will be able to predict a Vaishnava difference. But just because somebody is reaching success early, that doesn’t mean he is a great Vaishnava.
Why? Because, this success in making many followers, that can have also complicated things. What is the complicated cause? Somebody, by their own past good karma, is just trying to become famous and have fans and followers. So, what is happening is, that is happening now within the ambit of emotions.
That person became a devotee. That person’s past good karma brings a reaction in the ambit of emotions. Therefore, it doesn’t necessarily mean that just because a person is getting a lot of followers, that doesn’t mean he is a great Vaishnava.
So, what is the ideal situation? Now, we are discussing this question. So, this is of internal success. Yes, if it is built on internal success.
No, if it is a substitute for internal success. So, what does it mean? Yes, if it is built on internal success, it means that actually I have a better relationship with Krishna. And I feel happy in my relationship with Krishna.
And I want other girls to be similarly happy. And that is why I share Krishna-Krishna concepts. Then, what is happening is, I have internal success.
And I want to share that other girls. So, if our desire to reach external life, then our external success is indeed a reflector of internal success. But sometimes, to get the higher taste of Krishna, it requires commitment, it requires humility, it requires tolerance.
That is too difficult. Then, we make a short cut. What is a short cut? Yes, I need happiness somewhere.
So, I’m not getting happiness in my relationship with Krishna, because I don’t get happiness in faith. And I work very hard for my preaching, I work very hard for my services, and others glorify me. That is the taste that I’m getting.
So, if my external success is a substitute for my internal success, then that is extremely unfortunate. It is extremely dangerous. But in general for us, both will go together.
Prabhupada taught us that it is not that we have to wait to become internally successful and then we develop external success. Prabhupada taught us that our sadhana is important, but our preaching is also part of our sadhana. Our preaching is also part of our sadhana.
We develop our relationship with Krishna by sharing our relationship with Krishna. So, it’s not that we have become happy in our Krishna consciousness. Yes, surely we are happier than people in the world.
But we also have our struggles. But, we do preaching as a service. But, if we start doing preaching as a service, we start doing that and we think that happiness through this is what I am looking for.
If we don’t do either of those things, then there is no happiness. Sometimes it happens that some people say, I want to build this big temple for Krishna. They look very hard to build it.
But, in the name of building the temple or in the name of distributing the books. So, in the name of distributing the books. I build the temple in the morning and I have to go to the evening and then I change my rooms sometimes along the way and I don’t have any time to read.
What is happening? I develop a relationship with the temple, but I lose the relationship with Krishna. How can that happen? Because I distribute the books. Therefore, the source is the What this person said to us is that don’t let the exclusive desire distract you from the individual.
Now, for a karma yogi, he is not even aware of Krishna. But, what he is aware of is I am growing in this temple. So, by doing that activity with detachment he will grow in the awareness that I am here.
So, for him, he will grow in knowledge. That’s what I have already said. He grew in wisdom and he grew in devotion.
Karma yogi is finding actual detachment to grow in wisdom. And we as devotees, we will grow in wisdom also, but we will grow in devotion also. This is actually the import of this verse.
So that, suddenly, we have to be concerned about the result. We are concerned about the result because it is to be offered to Krishna. And therefore, our concern is more for Krishna than for the result.
Our concern is surely for the result, but it’s more for Krishna than for the result. So, if I have done my part, Krishna will not come to me. And then I get irritable and I start shouting at everyone and I blow up everything around me.
Then, I get irritable. Then what will happen? Then I will be Krishna. Otherwise, the devotees, I already created a bad concept about how devotees behave.
I will be Krishna. Therefore, we don’t expect to achieve success. This track has to we will not achieve any success.
Any questions? Yeah? Yes, loudly. Can something be closed? Yeah, sometimes you only get external success. It’s a principle.
Any doubts? No. If we have any doubts, whether I am in a position or from my own point of the only solution is to do it. If I am not doing it, they will not do it.
They will go there and cease. If I do a service, I will come back. If I don’t do a service, I will make use of those other resources.
So, if I don’t do it, I will not do it. If I do do it. If I do it, not If I do it, I will not do it.
If I do it, We are getting down to our business. Extremes do not matter that much. Why? Generally, we should do what we do best.
We do what we do best. We do what we do best. Sometimes, if we try to do the nonsense, actually speaking, how the world sees that we are doing the nonsense, they find that they find that they can’t do it.
Then, that person doesn’t do it. That person doesn’t do so much. And just by not doing surveys, what is going to happen? Okay, I don’t want to do it.
I started to do surveys and then I said, I can’t do it. And then I paid attention, and then I knew. Then, not only am I safe from failure, but I am also improving my preparation.
And that improves the preparation of one aspect of your preparation. Therefore, we need to make a decision. And if we keep our connection with Krishna, and our connection with Krishna is strong, then we need to make a decision.
Isn’t it? And that is not a bad thing. The best decision is, of course, to ask Krishna for help. Okay.
So now, one more question. So, we discussed now that A entails B. A is spiritual advancement. B is effective success in preaching.
So now, success in preaching does not necessarily mean A is present. One has to be spiritual advancement. So now, now you are asking for a second part.
If A is present, is it possible that B may not be present? Sometimes, it is spiritual advancement, but there is no spiritual advancement. Is it possible? Yes. The whole concept of Krishna is present.
Krishna is present. And then, B is spiritual advancement. So now, I have asked Krishna, Krishna asked, why is Krishna not moving? I got different answers.
So one said, Krishna is not moving. They are so disappointed with the human race. That is the field of cognition for the human race to be formed.
I told him that, actually, they are so advanced that they don’t see the real point. They don’t see the real point. They are completely absorbed in Krishna and live in the other world where he exists.
And, the other answer I gave him was, if you look at Lord Vishnu’s life, he was not in the second stage. He was so sharp in cutting people, in checking people’s progress. He might have been in the stage where the world was oblivious to him.
But whenever he interacted with the world, he cut through people’s desires. Somebody asked, why don’t you come to our home? I said, if you want me, you should come and see. Now is your home.
Now is your country. Come and see. He didn’t want to go.
So he cut through. Cut through the population. One time a couple came and took his blessings.
So, and that man came and said, Krishna is an instrument. Everyone is an instrument. Remember, your wife is not God, but she is Krishna’s.
So, it was not that he was oblivious to the world. Then, what comes across were the confusions. So, understanding that, I have got this, that actually Krishna inspires me.
Krishna inspires me to get rid of the world. And, that is the result they have produced. Matrix became, you cannot say that elsewhere, but in confusions.
So, God, all the other Vaishnavas, all of them. So, I could not do it. I had to take it to my son.
My daughter-in-law could not do it. My son-in-law told me he had a very strong relationship with his father. He said, you see, every Vaishnava knows what he is doing.
So, take this to your son. So, his actions are spiritual. So, even the Vaishnavas said that, the Vaishnavas were also teaching his actions.
So, in Chandigarh, some Vaishnavas were teaching. Of course, it was more on Krishnamurti. So, that is why, in that context, you see, that India has become the brotherhood of Sangha, Vijayanagara, Krishnamurti, Vishwa, Vishnu.
This focus on that, for us, I mean, for us, Krishnamurti in 1920 since he onwards studied Mahabharata. Earlier also he was studying Mahabharata. Now, in the modern time, he is studying.
So, this is focused on Vishwa. So, it’s not Vishwa, Vishnu. Mahabharata is not having four words.
But, that is not Vishwa. In our modern time, we don’t know what is Vishwa. So, is our definition of preaching limited? See, different words have different definitions.
So, there is a narrow definition, there is a standard definition, and there is a liberal definition. So, standard definition, the meaning of preaching is speaking about Vishwa. That’s what we think of as preaching.
Either I’m giving classes, or I’m studying books and then I’m preaching about Vishwa. So, that’s what we think of as preaching. Standard definition.
Now, the narrow definition of preaching is speaking about Vishwa. That would be the broad of preaching in a narrow sense. In a broad sense, I’m not going to tell you the word liberal, it’s not in a broad definition, but it’s in a narrow sense.
Broad means, any activity that inspires the soul to come closer to Vishwa. That is preaching. The broad is this.
And this soul is, this soul may be an angel, this soul may be a demon, but this is helping him closer to Vishwa. Any activity that inspires the soul to come closer to Vishwa, that is preaching. And if you want to take this further, any activity that removes an obstacle between a soul and Vishwa, that is also preaching.
What does this mean? For example, Vishwa Prabhupada wanted to tell this theory to Vishwadevi. Prabhupada said, the more you let me tell it, the more you’ll be exposed to it also. The explicit part of Prabhupada said, Prabhupada said, yes, that means I would want to do things with you also.
The more extreme Prabhupada said, the more you take on the face of Narayana, the more you’ll be exposed to it also. So Vishwa Prabhupada said, what does it mean to take on the face? He said, now, Narayana is buried outside of Narayana, so I’ll go to his grave and hang over there. Would you like me to dismiss and advance with? Not at all.
Take on the face means, what does come out of his face is the concept of evolution. So now, this itself is not going to be the conclusion of Vishwa Prabhupada. So generally speaking, we talk about material sciences, so the definition of and Vishwa Prabhupada is material science.
So, the question is that sometimes, if we want to teach another people’s philosophy, then how are we going to get in? Unless there is evolution of Vishwa Prabhupada. So, the definition of Vishwa there is a for Vishwa Prabhupada and that is a great good for Vishwa Prabhupada. And with all due respect to the people also, we are disrespecting Vishwa So, the point is anyone who is going to teach, anyone who is not a devotee, he has answers to most of the standard questions.
If you just have one of these in the room, you will have the answers. So, that sense the thing. So, is most important thing.
So, the most important thing. So, is the most important So, most important have the And as you can go to those places, you have to wait. Especially if you find some person who is quite well-read and well-informed, it’s best to connect them to some business or industry.
But that doesn’t mean that you have to stop, you can never fight the war, they will give you the value you want. That’s not it. You can fight right now, but they can’t.
So it’s very important for both the government and the person is to stop at the system. It’s a system. It’s an important concept anyway.
It’s very important for a chapter to have a good understanding. So what does it all mean? It’s a method.
