Today on this occasion of Parampavan Radha Shastri I welcome all of you to the temple Today we are with Shri Radha Rani who is the greatest devotee of in reality Radha Rani is God in the form of a devotee we will talk about I will start with Chaitanya Charita Amrit first I will talk about some facts and then there is a book named Anand Vrindavan Jampu written by Kavi Karnapur in that Radha Rani for the first time how she prays for Bhagwan Shri Krishna there is a very interesting description about that we will talk about that Devi Krishna Mayi Purokta Radhika Paradevata Sarva Lakshmi Mayi Sarva Kanti Sammohini Para Padmapurana is told about Radha Rani’s glory Devi Krishna Mayi Purokta Devi what kind of Devi is she? Krishna Mayi Krishna Mayi means complete with Krishna complete with Krishna Anand Mayo Abhyasat Param Satya Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Anand Shrimati Radha Rani she is inанный servant Sh Where is it? she pleases the Lord to think about God, and to think for God.
To think about God, and to think for God. These two levels are different. To think about God means, we can think about different things.
Maybe, we can think about cricket, we can think about Pakistan, we can think about terrorism. So, in different ways, God also becomes a subject of thought. So, in that way, there is a memory of God.
But to think for God means, how to please God. What can be a problem for God? And how can I get rid of it? To think about that is a higher level. The Brajwasi, Vishudamayi, Nanda Maharaj, when Krishna takes all the cows to the jungle every morning, Trunacharanugam Shriniketanam Panipanarpitam Taipadambucham Kranakucheshuna Krandiruchayam Trunacharanugam Every morning, God goes after the cowherd Trunachar.
Yadyapeeva Bhagwam Shriniketanam Shri Lakshmidevi resides in their heart. But that God serves the cows. So, when Krishna goes to the jungle, what does Vishudamayi do? Vishudamayi Nanda Maharaj, he prays to God.
Who is God for him? Krishna is not God for him. Krishna is his beloved. In all religions, Krishna is told to worship God.
The whole world prays to God. The Brajwasis pray for God. The whole world prays to God.
The Brajwasis pray for God. Krishna is going to the jungle, he should be safe. Protect him.
This is the sky of love. When we connect with God, we think, God is so great, God is powerful, God will protect me. This is good.
We are coming to God. In Chapter 7, Bhagavad Gita’s 16th verse, God tells us that such people are Sukruti. Chaturvidha Bhajante Mam Janah Sukrutnav Arjuna They are Sukruti.
But the best devotee does not come to ask for anything from God. They come to do something for God. Among such devotees, Radha Rani is the best.
Krishna Devi, Krishna Mai, Pravrata The Devi of Krishna Mai, what is her name? Radhika Paradevata Paradevata Among all the deities, the best is Lord Krishna. And the best devotee is Radha Rani. These two names belong to the same devotee.
Radhika and Radha. Both names have similarities and differences. Radhika is the one who worships Krishna the most.
But Radha is the one whom Krishna worships. When Lord Krishna sees how much Radha Rani worships, how much she is attracted to Krishna, Lord Krishna is surprised that the joy that Radha Rani is receiving in my worship, even I am not getting that joy. How is this possible? This is the speciality of Radha Rani.
In the worship of Lord Krishna, there is so much joy, that Krishna himself does not get that joy. Sometimes people think, why has God made us like this? If we want contentment, we should worship God. We should chant God’s name.
God is very egoistic. Everyone comes and chants my name. But this is not the case.
God has created us in such a way, that the one who chants, the one who listens to the chants, the one for whom the chants are chanted, gets more joy than that. In this ordinary world, when we worship someone, that person keeps on blowing. Yes, I am so great, I am so great.
And other people do not worship with much joy. They have to do it, that is why they keep on smirking. But the love of God and the relationship with God is so great, that when we worship God, the more joy God gets, the more joy the devotee gets.
In the remembrance of God, God has made such a plan, that in the remembrance of God, in His service, the devotees get more joy than them. And the one who gets the most joy is Radha Rani. And seeing her, even God gets surprised.
That is why even God gives Radha Rani a lot of respect. So, Devi, Krishna Mai, Draupada, Radhika, Paradevata, Sarva Lakshmi Mai, Sarva, Sarva Lakshmi Mai. This Radha Rani is not only Krishna Mai, but she is Sarva Lakshmi Mai.
Sarva Lakshmi Mai means, Lakshmi Devi is the source of all good fortune. Everyone gets good fortune from Lakshmi Devi. But all Lakshmi Devis, their complete power is in Radha Rani.
I am discussing about Lakshmi Devi. So, Lakshmi Devi, all the Lakshmi Devis, all their power is in Shreemati Radha Rani. Sarva Lakshmi Mai, Sarva, Kanti Sammohini Para, Kanti Sammohini Para.
Sammohini means the one who fascinates. Who fascinates? Lord Krishna. In this world, all of us are fascinated by Maya or Madan.
It is very difficult But that Madan, that desire, is fascinated by Lord Krishna. And Lord Krishna is fascinated by Radha Rani. Sarva Kanti Sammohini So, Shreemati Radha Rani her beauty, her elegance, her qualities, her attire is so attractive, that Lord Krishna is fascinated by her.
So, here, the heart is related. So, in this material world, the attraction is material. The attraction of Lord and his devotees is spiritual.
So, Shreemati Radha Rani today is an auspicious day. So, our Acharyas have written many books. Lord, if we want to know about Leelas, then we should read the Shastras.
And the Acharyas who think a lot about the Shastras, they are more aware of the Shastras. We listen to the Leelas of the Lord again and again. So, after that, those Leelas get re-enacted in the heart.
Re-enacted means, the past times when heard repeatedly become enacted within the heart. And the great Acharyas who have listened to the Shastras for a long time, those Leelas get re-enacted in their hearts. And then they tell us about those Leelas.
So, in the Shreemad Bhagwatam, Lord Krishna’s Leelas have been described in 90 chapters. So, these 40 chapters describe the Lord’s Vrindavan Leelas. And these 40 chapters, actually there are 35 chapters.
The first 5 chapters, in which Lord Mathura is born, and then later comes to Vrindavan. So, these 35 chapters, their detailed description, there was a great devotee named Karnapura, he was the son-in-law of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He has described it in the book Anand Vrindavan Champu.
So, from that, we will discuss a Leela. When Shreemati Radharani is born, is born, after that, in all the branches, in all its surroundings, there is great bliss. And as soon as Krishna and Radharani are growing up, so, in the area of Vrindavan, there are two parts.
One part is of Vrindavan, where Nanda Maharaj is the king. And the other part is of Varsana, where Rishabhanu Maharaj is the king. And Rishabhanu Maharaj’s very beloved daughter, her name is Radharani.
So, when Lord Krishna is born, so, for a long time, Nanda Maharaj, Yashodamani, does not have any son. So, when they have a son, there is great bliss. And that is why they have a great festival, in which from Vrindavan and all the other places, they call all the people.
Then, Kirtada and Rishabhanu, who are Radharani’s parents, they also come. And then, after a few years, Rishabhanu Maharaj thinks, that we should also have a great festival, in which we will call all the Brajwasis. And especially, like Nanda Maharaj and Yashodamani called us to their house for food, we will also call them.
And then, when Rishabhanu Maharaj makes a plan, then, he talks to his wife, Kirtada Devi. He feels great bliss. And then, his maid, Sucharita, tells him to go to Radharani and tell her that she should make a special dish for this festival.
When Radharani is young, then, once, Durvasa Muni comes there. And when Durvasa Muni comes, then Rishabhanu Maharaj starts serving Durvasa Muni. So, Radharani serves her so well, that Durvasa Muni blesses her that whatever dish she makes, that will be very tasty, and whatever she eats, she will never fall ill, and her life will be like nectar.
So, in reality, Radharani blesses everyone. Durvasa Muni does not bless Radharani. But, in Leela, when God does Leela, then, what is the meaning of Leela? That God does not show his divinity.
God hides his divinity, so that love is given. Krishna is the God who conceals his divinity, so that love can reign supreme. So, to give love, without any hesitation, that is why God conceals his divinity.
And in the same way, the queen of God, Bahariya, Radharani, she also conceals her divinity. So, in this way, Radharani is with her friends, Lalita, Vishaka, Shama is also there. It is said that Rishabhanu Maharaj has given such a request that tomorrow there is a festival, and for this, you cook a very delicious dish.
So, immediately, Radharani and her friends go to Rishabhanu Maharaj’s palace, they bow to him, Rishabhanu Maharaj greets them, Radharani has become a deity, they smell him and say, tomorrow there is a big festival, and whatever you have learned in the art of cooking food, you have a very good chance What will you cook with this? So, Radharani is very pleased, even though she is deaf, she says yes. And then, Kirtida, who is one of her sages, sends a message to Yashodamayi. She says, O Yashoda, this is your name, Yashoda, which gives everything its glory.
So, if you in reality, in two tribes, in which you were born, and in which you got married, you have given glory to both. So, we request you, please come to our house for a day, with your family, and the way Vrindavan had celebrated, we also want to celebrate. So, please come, and give us a part of your glory.
Yashodamayi talks to Vrindavan, and then accepts this invitation. In the evening, when Krishna returns, to the cows, Yashodamayi says, O Krishna, tomorrow, to take care of all the cows, let your friends go. Tomorrow, we have got an invitation to go to Shibhanu Maharaj.
So, tomorrow, don’t go with your friends. Krishna says, what kind of invitation is this? If an invitation comes, then I should also go with my friends. If my friends don’t come, then I won’t go.
So, Yashodamayi says, the invitation has come for you. You have got so many cows, and so many friends. The invitation has not come for all of them.
So, if you don’t want to come, you can go with your friends. So, here, Lord Krishna is playing with different juices. So, in different juices, Madhuri juice is the best.
It is with Lord Krishna and his friends, Radha, Rani, Lata, Kshatriya. And then, with his friends, Sakhya juice is there. With his parents, Vatsalya juice is there.
So, Lord Krishna says, he thinks, if I don’t go, Yashodamayi will get angry. If I go, my friends will get angry. So, Vatsalya and Sakhya are closed in his mind.
What to do? Then Lord Krishna remembers, Rishi Bhanu Maharaj is at home and Radha Rani is there. So, when Madhuri juice comes, Sakhya juice goes out. So, Lord Krishna says, I will go, but I will take my inner friend with me.
So, Balramji will come with his family. He will come with his family. And with him, my inner friend Madhumangal.
Madhumangal has many names. Batu is his name. Usma is his name.
So, Batu will come with me. And along with him, Subal will also come. So, Yashodamayi says, okay, I will take him with me.
And the next day, Rishi Bhanu Maharaj, the whole way, Vrindavan, there is a jungle in the middle of the area. Then later, there is Barsana. So, the entrance of Barsana area, not the entrance of Rishi Bhanu Maharaj’s palace, but the entrance of the village, from there, the flowers are brought and a very beautiful plan is made.
And all the members of Rishi Bhanu Maharaj’s family are waiting when Krishna will come, when Nanda Maharaj will come. And when they are waiting, there, they have arranged the music. They are wearing white clothes.
It is like a small sun there. And next to them is Balramji. His golden colour is like a moon there.
So, in this way, Jyotis are worn all around. Everyone is happy. So, Krishna comes, Nanda Maharaj comes.
When they see Krishna, Rishi Bhanu Maharaj embraces Krishna, hugs him, then embraces Balramji, and then salutes Nanda Maharaj. Rishi Bhanu and Kirtida and Vishwadama embrace each other. And then all the servants are asked to organise for their service.
And then Yashodamayi enters Antapur. She wants to see what all has been prepared in the kitchen. So, she goes there where Radharani has prepared all the dishes.
And she sees so many dishes and so beautiful. Anand Lal has told that the prasad, the food, that first of all, before seeing, the person should be attracted to the fragrance. He will be attracted to the fragrance first.
Then later, he should be attracted And third, the touch should be perfect. What should be soft, should be soft. What should be soft, should be soft.
So, after that, for the taste, we usually think about the taste. But taste is the last. So, in this taste of the juice, the taste which starts, it starts with the fragrance.
And in Yoga, there are different levels. Meditation, meditation and Samadhi. Meditation starts with the fragrance.
And when you taste, you reach Samadhi. So, in this way, when Yashodamayi sees the prasad, she becomes so happy. Radharani, Yashodamayi, all the Brajwasi know that all the Brajwasi know that Yashodamayi and Varsanakumari are for each other.
And to unite them, all the Brajwasi are excited. That is why, in the presence of Yashodamayi, Radharani feels shy. So, when she sees such a beautiful dish, then she invites Radharani to Yashodamayi.
She says that the process of making different dishes is the most beautiful ornament of a woman. And that ornament is in complete form in you. You have made it.
It is a miraculous dish. With Yashodamayi, Rohini also comes. And then Kirtada also comes there.
She is Radharani’s mother. And Yashodamayi says to Kirtada that this Radharani her body is as soft as a lotus flower. And you have made this soft Radharani in this way to make so many dishes.
Why did you put her in so much penance? This Radharani is of this age that she should play. For such big celebrations, making dishes is the work of the elders. Why did you put Radharani in penance So, Kirtada says that whatever you have said is true.
When this celebration was going to take place, Vishwabhanu Maharaj said to Radharani in a funny joke that if you want to make something, you can make it. So, Radharani made so many dishes Even we were surprised. And it is not that all the dishes were made by Radharani.
Actually, there are more than 100 dishes. And Kirtada says that these are only special dishes. We have done the main cooking at another place.
Radharani has only made special dishes. And then, Radharani is with her friends. Vishwamitra says that Radharani and Shyama are her friends.
So, Shyama and Shyama are Radharani’s partners. And Krishna has one name Shyama. Rohini says that actually, Radharani and Shyama have a very good So, when she says Shyama, the word Shyama comes out.
Hearing this, everyone is happy. Radharani feels shy. So, she says that you have made all this.
So, she says that Rohini, you are very patient. So, you serve all this. Kirtada says this to Rohini.
Vishwamitra says that how is this possible? Those who have cooked it, they should serve it. So, everyone’s plan is to bring Radharani and Krishna together. So, Radharani says that no, no.
If I serve food, I will only serve Yashodamayi in Antapur. And she says to Shyama that you serve Krishna, Balramji, Nandmahal. Shyama says that how is this possible? I can’t do it alone.
So, Yashodamayi says that women should learn both cooking and serving. So, I tell you that you serve. So, you serve.
And in the meantime, Nandmahal and all the people who had come, they all come inside Nandmahal sits in the middle. On his left, on his right, Balramji sits. On the other side, Krishna sits.
On Krishna’s side, Battu sits. In the middle. And on the other side, Subal sits.
So, Radharani, Shyama and Sakhi ask them to serve. So, because of shyness, Radharani goes to the other side. And she serves Balramji.
She serves Nandmahal. And she says to Shyama and Sakhi that you serve everyone else. So, Yashodamayi says that look, Battu will eat a lot.
So, Shyama and Sakhi will not be able to serve him alone. So, you also serve in that line. In this way, Radharani serves Krishna.
When Battu starts eating, he sits there and starts dancing. He says, I am a Brahmin and I am young but I have eaten in hundreds of places. But, till date, I have never eaten such a delicious food.
And Krishna says, don’t talk much, just eat. Then, Battu says, how is this possible? This is such a delicious food that even if I had hundreds of mouths, I would not be able to eat it. I have only one mouth and you are closing that too.
So, this is very unfair. And this food, I cannot eat it. But, by eating this food, I am enjoying and also worried.
So, everyone was looking at Battu. He says, why are you enjoying and worried? I am enjoying because it is such a delicious food. But I am worried that after eating such a delicious food, how will I be satisfied with other food in future? So, when a game is going on, Krishna has a parrot.
And, the parrot is sitting on Krishna’s shoulder. So, in between, Krishna is eating and feeding it too. So, the parrot can also speak.
So, it starts speaking. So, sometimes a person has to speak but he is hiccuping. So, what happens? His throat looks like this.
Because he is about to speak. So, Shraddha Mai was watching this. She was saying, Radha Rani and Shama Sakhi are serving.
Dwij Raj, you want to say something? So, what is the meaning of the word Dwij? It is the second birth. So, Brahmins are called Dwij. And, at the same time, birds are also called Dwij.
The first birth of birds is inside their eggs. And, the second birth is when they hatch So, Yashodamayi says, Dwijraj, do you want to say something? So, Madhumangal says, Wow, today Yashodamayi has also accepted that I am Dwijraj. And Krishna, you always talk, I talk more.
But Yashodamayi is seeing that I am talking less, that’s why she is asking me to talk. So, Yashodamayi starts laughing and says, I am not talking to you, I am talking to the parrot. Madhumangal says, you are Dwijraj.
So, the parrot says, that Radharani is more delicious than Lakshmidevi. So, the parrot says that this is true. Because Lakshmidevi comes from Radharani.
Madhumangal says, you have really become Dwijraj. You are talking very intelligently. So, in this way, Radharani serves Krishna.
And Krishna is serving in this way. So, Radharani comes to Antapur and looks outside. So, she serves one food and Krishna eats it.
So, Radharani’s face turns dark. And Krishna pushes Radharani away. So, Radharani gets a heart attack by seeing Krishna’s attitude.
What has happened? So, Radharani made everything with so much concentration. What has happened? As soon as Krishna pushes Radharani away, Radharani goes to Battu. Battu starts eating.
Very good. Very good. So, Radharani gets angry with Krishna.
And Krishna eats the food with great pleasure. And Nanda Maharaj says, This food was very delicious. Today, out of all the food I have eaten, this is one of the most delicious food.
I am angry in front of them. So, I have not said it is the most delicious food. It is one of the most delicious food.
It is one of the most delicious food. So, Radharani eats the food with great pleasure. Later, Yashodamayi comes inside and thinks.
She sees that Krishna has eaten so much food. And Yashodamayi is always worried. So, Yashodamayi goes to the forest.
I make a box and give it to Krishna. But Krishna is always busy playing. I don’t even know if he eats or not.
So, Krishna is very happy to see the food he has eaten with so much pleasure. So, Radharani is feeding Krishna. She has cooked it and fed it to Krishna.
So, the love of Radharani’s heart is serving Krishna in the form of food. And when Krishna is eating, he is not just eating food. He is accepting Radharani’s love.
So, the love of Madhurya rasa is higher than Vatsalya rasa. So, when Krishna eats food, it is not only for the body. Eating food is a gift of love.
So, when Krishna eats with Yashodamayi, he accepts her love. When he eats with Radharani, he accepts her love. And the love of Madhurya rasa is the highest.
When Krishna eats with Radharani, he eats more. So, Radharani’s love is the proof of everyone’s love. Yashodamayi’s love is at the level of Leela.
Yashodamayi is the senior and Radharani is the junior. But at the level of Tattva, Radharani is the reason for everyone’s devotion. Radharani is Ladini Shakti.
Ladini Shakti means the one who gives pleasure. In Chaitanya Charitambra, it is said, लादिनी कराये कृष्णानन्द स्वधाम् लादिनी कर्वारा कृष्ण करे भक्तेर पोशाम् Ladini Shakti is the one who does two things. लाद, लाद means pleasure.
From that word comes प्रहलाद. प्रहलाद is the one who gives divine pleasure. So, everyone who gets pleasure in devotion, is because of Ladini Shakti.
What does Ladini Shakti do? It gives pleasure to God. When we serve God, Radharani blesses us in our service. And through that service, God gets pleasure.
So, Radharani is the one who gives pleasure to God. Radharani is the embodiment of Ladini Shakti. So, when we serve, we get a part of Ladini Shakti.
Through that, we please God. And through that, we get pleasure. Ladini Shakti does two things.
First, she pleases God. Second, she nourishes the devotees. What kind of nourishment is this? This is spiritual nourishment.
When we have to do devotion, then all the desires of this world, all the worries of this world, they pull us in other directions. So, to keep them all away, to be focused in God’s devotion, we need this Shakti and Radharani’s blessings. भक्ते करेर पोष्ण वो भक्तों का पोष्ण नहीं है। So, when Yashodamayi thinks, that Krishna has made Radharani so happy, that she has taken food.
So, when Radharani is in the room of Anta, when she is talking to her friends, then Yashodamayi goes to her. She says, O Radha, the food that you had made, which is very tasty, and the way everyone has given it to you, you have done a good deed, that which I had told you, you are repeating it. So, I am very happy.
May your life be fulfilled. That is very powerful. So, Radharani feels shy.
She says, it is right, that any cultured person, when he hears his own good deeds, he feels shy. But you don’t need to feel shy, because I am not doing a good deed for you, I am just telling the truth. You have said the right thing.
So, I have a request. Now, Rishi Bhanu Maharaj, he is also a king. Kananda Maharaj, he is also a king of the whole area.
So, I have a request. With so much enthusiasm, Krishna accepted the food that you had made. So, I wish, that with this same enthusiasm, Krishna should eat everyday.
So, I wish, that everyday, you come to Nandgaon, and there, in Vrindavan, you should eat for Krishna. So, when Krishna says like this, Radharani’s heart starts dancing from inside. Because Radharani wishes to see God, to serve God.
But still, Radharani does not say anything to God. And she remains silent. So, Ishwara Dama is looking at her.
She says, I understand. You will not do anything without the permission of your elders. So, I will ask Kirtika, that can you, can she give you permission, to come for Krishna, and make food everyday.
So, when this conversation was going on, then Kirtika comes from there. And she says, Hey Ishwara, your wish, is the command of all Brajwasi. And if we get a chance, then it is our fortune.
Surely, everyday, I will send Radharani, Radha everyday, to your house. So, she says, that Radharani, the way she cooks, makes food, there is a special method. So, for that, we have made a special plan in our house.
So, there will be a plan in your house, that will be different. So, how will she make food there? So, she was thinking, Radharani’s heart was dancing with joy, that she will get a chance to serve Krishna everyday. And then, Ishwara Dama says, so, both of them discuss and make a plan, that there is a place next to Nanda Maharaj’s house, called Pavan Sarovar.
And there, for Radharani, to make food for Krishna, they make a special kitchen, in their house. And there, Radharani comes everyday, to make food for Krishna. So, Radharani, when she eats food, she doesn’t make it on one stove, or two stoves, or three stoves, she makes it on 50 stoves, together.
And, when she is making food, she is full of joy and worry. She has to make every meal perfect. And she has to make Krishna happy.
So, Acharya says, when Radharani makes food for Krishna, every meal that she makes everyday, is new. Radharani doesn’t make a single meal in the entire history So, we ask, how is this possible? Here, it is impossible for those who think that there is nothing impossible for Bhagwan and Bhagwan’s power. It is possible.
Actually, Bhagwan has infinite powers. He gives infinite powers to his devotees. So, Radharani makes chapatis with all her devotion and service.
She makes chapatis everyday in a different way. She makes new chapatis. And, whatever food she makes, she makes in a different way.
In this way, Radharani serves Krishna everyday. So, in reality, when Radharani gets a chance to serve Krishna, Shri Bhanu Maharaj tells her, you come and make some food for Krishna. So, Radharani immediately accepts the opportunity to serve Krishna.
And, that service, when she serves in an excellent way, what is the result? She gets an opportunity to serve Krishna everyday. So, this is the result of service. What is the result of service? That we get an opportunity to serve Krishna more.
In reality, the bliss in devotion is the greatest bliss in service. If someone serves in the material world, he serves because he gets some result from it. And, that result is bliss.
If a person is working in an office, then, he will say, from tomorrow, from next month, you will not get any salary. Your salary is closed. He will say, from today, your service is closed.
In this material world, when we serve, there is not much bliss in service. We serve so that we get the result. And, there is bliss in the result.
And, that is why, when people work, they think, how to get maximum salary in this material world. There is no bliss in service. But, in the devotion of God, the complete mercy of service is different.
Service is an expression It is an opportunity to express love. It is an opportunity to express love. That is why, we serve as much as we can.
And, the second benefit of serving is that the love of heart increases. When Prabhupada ji founded the International Krishna Bhavna Amrit Sangh, what did he do? He wrote a book called Bhagavad Gita Yatharupa. And, he said, this Krishna Bhavna Amrit Sangh is the most important book.
And, if you read the entire Bhagavad Gita Yatharupa, the name of Radha Rani is mentioned only once in the entire Bhagavad Gita. And, where does it come? In the beginning, when Prabhupada ji is reciting Pranam Mantra, तप्त कांचिन गवरांगी राधे विन्दावरिश्वरि In Pranam Mantra, in the entire Bhagavad Gita, the name of Radha Rani is mentioned only once. Why? Because, Prabhupada ji, who is the son of Radha Rani, Radha Rani’s tattva, Radha Rani’s leela, Radha Rani’s love, is very high.
It is of Siddhanta. After understanding, we can understand Radha Rani’s love. Prabhupada ji, in Chaitanya Charita Amrit, has described Radha Rani’s love in a very special way.
In Bhagavad Gita, he has described it in a very primitive way. But, what was Prabhupada ji’s intention? Prabhupada ji’s intention was how do we express devotion? Devotion is expressed through service. Prabhupada ji was in Vrindavan, and he was 79 years old.
At that time, ordinary people wanted to retire, become free, and lead a peaceful life. But, a devotee’s desire to serve, like devotion increases, the desire to serve increases. So, as soon as Prabhupada ji meets his Gurudev, he gives him the order to spread the word of God.
Since then, Prabhupada ji wants to spread the word in different ways. First, he thinks, I have a business, so I will increase my business, and the money I earn from it, I will donate to my Gurudev. So, he increases his business.
But, due to some reasons, he doesn’t get any profit. Then, he runs his book, Maastika, he doesn’t get any profit. But, later, after the Mahayudha, the government doesn’t give papers, the money is less.
He starts an organisation, the organisation is closed, there is a conspiracy against him. So, in this world, what happens is, we all have a lot of important work. I will do this, I will do that.
This young boy, when he enters his youth, he thinks, I will become the most powerful person in this world. I will become the President of America. He thinks, I am an Indian, I can’t become the President of America.
I will become the Prime Minister of India. He thinks, I will open my own company. And, there are so many problems in this world, so many defeats, we have to face.
When you graduate from college, if you get a job in a company, it will be good. So, what happens is, our desire for importance is very big in the beginning. But, when there are defeats, problems, etc., the importance decreases.
But, what was the speciality of Prabhupada Ji? Whatever he did, he started a business, he got defeats in that. He started an organisation, he got defeats in that. He started a mosque, he got no success in that.
He collaborated with his Gurudwara brothers and tried to propagate something, he got no success in that either. But, what was the importance of Prabhupada Ji? It didn’t decrease, it increased. Prabhupada Ji said, Indians are not listening, I will go to America and propagate the message.
So, Sumati Morar Ji, who was a big businesswoman there, Prabhupada Ji told her, you give me a chance to go in your steamship. She said, Swamiji, if you want to propagate Bhagwat, then, what is the need to go to America? You come to my house, I will listen to Bhagwat from you every day. So, Prabhupada Ji, he didn’t have to listen to Bhagwat in this way.
He said, No, I want to think all over the world. And America is the king of the world, so, I want to go there. So, he said, Swamiji, you are so old, America is so cold.
Laughter You are so old, America is so cold, how will you live there? Prabhupada Ji said, following my Guru’s order is the purpose of my life. And, Prabhupada Ji, how does devotion appear in his life? By service. At the age of 69, I went to America.
After that, his service was so much, he propagated all over the world. He toured the world 14 times. He built 108 temples.
He wrote more than 70 books. In thousands, he inspired people towards Krishna Bhakti. Prabhupada Ji, used to say, I want to do Radha Krishna Bhakti.
How do I do it? The way to understand Radha Krishna’s love is to preach Krishna Consciousness all over the world. When we think of Krishna Bhavan, there is a lot of service. Through that service, we get closer to Radha Krishna.
Radha Krishna is Sri Krishna Chaitanya, Radha Krishna is Radha Krishna. He has come in the form of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu says, उत्विते आच्यत नगरा दिग्रां सर्वत्र वचार होई विमो रणा सारे विश्व भर में नाम का विचार होगा। When a devotee says a word to God, he does not think that God has said and God will fulfil it.
He thinks that God has said and it is my responsibility and Prabhupada accepted that responsibility.
So, service is the vehicle of devotion and service is the engine of devotion. So, service is the vehicle of devotion.
If we have to go somewhere, we need a vehicle. So, we have to show our devotion. So, service is the medium through which we show our devotion.
And not only is it a medium, but service also increases the emotion of devotion. Sometimes people say, Why do we need to show our devotion? Why do we need to chant loudly? God is in our heart. God is in our heart.
God will listen to us. So, why do we need to chant loudly? We need to chant loudly because we want to make you listen to us. God is in your heart, but you are not listening to him.
That is why we are making you listen to us from outside. But there is one reason. God is in our heart and only in our heart can he understand our emotions.
But love is always personal. Without expressing it, love has no meaning. If a mother says, I love my children.
But the child is crying. She says, I love my children. The child is crying, I will do something, I love him.
Is that enough? No. No, if he is crying, we should serve him, we should calm him down. So, love means that we should always express our service.
And this is not only in the material world, but also in the spiritual world. If you think in the spiritual world, everyone is serving God only in their heart. Everyone is sitting quietly and chanting.
So, no one does anything. So, in such a place, no one will want to go. No one will want to come from there.
So, in the spiritual world, everyone listens to God. But along with listening, they also serve. That is why, Lala Rani is the embodiment of service.
And she is always in the service of God. And when we chant Hare Krishna Mahamantra, what is it? We are doing yajna for the feeling of service. A devotee says, I chant Hare Krishna Mahamantra, and it means, God, put me in service.
I feel, I already have a lot of service. I don’t need more service. So, maybe I should stop chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra, then God will give me more service.
No, it is not like that. When we are saying to God, put me in your service, what does it mean? It means, give me the desire to serve. The desire to serve.
If the desire comes, then internally and externally, we will become connected to God. So, bhakti is, Prabhupada ji says, devotional service. So, in this, devotion is internal, service is external.
Bhakti is inside, service is outside. And in both ways, we become connected to God. And this kind of connection is seen in Radha Rani.
And the same kind of connection is seen in Prabhupada ji. And in the same way, by doing bhakti, we can get the blessings of Radha Rani, by praying to her. And we can also progress in bhakti.
The prayer that I said in the beginning, we will repeat it now, and give rest to this discourse. So, please follow me. Devi Krishnamai Prakta Devi Krishnamai Prakta Radhika Paradevata Radhika Paradevata Sarvalakshmimai Sarva Sarvalakshmimai Sarva Srila Prabhupada ji Srila Prabhupada ji
