Hare Krishna.
Hare Krishna. I would like to welcome everyone. The story of our Janmashtami is about to begin.
And for this we have with us Mr. Chaitanya Charan Prabhu. So Prabhuji, as we have seen, does not need much introduction. Because every year in Janmashtami, we hear different stories from his Mukharvin.
But still some devotees would have come. So Prabhuji is a writer. We see that in the outside world, people read books.
But there are very few people who can read 30-35 books at a time. But Prabhuji writes those many books. So Prabhuji is a great writer.
Along with that, he is a member of ISKCON’s oldest body, the Governing Body Commission. He is a member of the Shastric Advisory Committee. All over the world, he has been promoting his Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.
And especially, there is only one website in the world, on which every day, if someone gives some reflections on Bhagavad Gita, then Prabhuji gives, gitadaily.com, through this. He promotes the youth, he also promotes the congregation members. And all over the world, in different centres of ISKCON, Prabhuji goes there and he has a little attachment towards Nasik.
That is why, every year in Janmashtami, whenever we call Prabhuji, then Prabhuji accepts our invitation with great love. So, this story is going to start from today. Today, Prabhuji will give a prelude to the story, in the introduction type.
And then from tomorrow, tomorrow, day after tomorrow, and on Janmashtami, in the morning, these stories will go on for Janmashtami. So, I request all of you to listen to these stories. Along with that, Prabhuji, he has recently published a book.
Like last time, we also had a book, Gita for CEO. Along with that, those reflections, inspired by Bhagavad Gita, there are some poems that he has written, with prayers, the prayers, according to each shloka, he has written each prayer, that on the basis of this shloka, what prayers can we offer to God. So, both these books are displayed outside.
You can see these books, you can take them. So, we would like to welcome Prabhuji, three times loudly, in the form of Haribol. Haribol, Haribol, Haribol.
Thank you very much, Prabhuji. I request all the devotees, please come forward. If there is a gap between you, please do not keep a gap, so that later on, the devotees get a place.
And I request the devotees, if you have brought your mobile phone, please keep it in silent mode or switch-off mode. And the mothers who have small children, please pay attention to them, so that the stories come later. Hare Krishna.

NITYANANDA SHRI ADVAITA GADADHARA SHRI VASADI GAURABHAKTA VRINDA HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE Hare Krishna I welcome you all and I am sorry for coming a little late So now on the occasion of Janmashtami I will talk about how God protects us how Krishna protects we will discuss this and we will discuss the seven main methods by which God protects on the basis of PROTECT so today mostly I will discuss the first P that God protects us many times when we feel this is a problem this is a danger so in this I pray or do some pooja or fast after that there is no change if it will not come then when will it come so such worries arise so at that time how can we see that God protects us so I will mainly discuss this so the first P is PROVIDENCE what is providence we can call it a situation we can call it a yoga we can call it a coincidence so what happens is the situation comes in such a way that that person is saved from danger so normally when we are living our life so the story of our life is centred in two things one is one is what I did, what happened to me and what happened through me what happened to me and what I did so many times we feel that what happened to me was bad so when we feel that it was bad if it is negative then we become bitter why did he treat me like this why did this happen I used to do a good job but the economy went down I was in America for 2-3 months so here the whole economy is worried so many students go to America to study, go for scholarships and the government took out the funding so one of the students came for the scholarship but the government cancelled so the student had to be sent back so I am trying to fit him so many times we feel why did this happen to me so we become bitter so many times we make mistakes in our work so we become insecure so we become insecure and what happened to me was bad so I get angry so this is one type of negativity the other type is what I did, I got angry I forgot, I didn’t pay attention so both the sides can be negative and the story of our life is mostly we get stuck in these two types of negative feelings so in both the sides the negativity increases so now when we do bhakti when we read shastras so from that bhakti is not just another thing bhakti is not just another thing it is not just another to do in our life it is not just another to do in our life to do means when I wake up in the morning I have to do 15 things so I feel I have to do one more thing sometimes my life is so busy where will I do one more thing so bhakti may seem like another to do but in reality bhakti is another way to do bhakti is not just another to do bhakti is not just another to do it is a new perspective with which we do all the work so yes we do some additional work in bhakti like we do japa, kirtan we do pooja, satsang but what happens with that it changes the perspective of our life and what does it mean what is the story of my life what happened with me and what I did this is a materialistic vision but when we do bhakti then we understand that whatever is happening in my life god is above it so krishna is above it and what I did and what was done on me in both it is all somehow related to god whatever happens in our life that is all god filtered what is god filtered it is not the story of my life it is not the story of my life alone whatever is happening in this there is a plan of god it does not mean that whatever happens god wants it it happens in the plan of god it is possible that god wants it it is the intention of god but if we do something wrong suppose someone gets angry he slaps another person why did he slap him, it was god’s wish we cannot say by making a mistake that it is god’s wish everything happens even if it is not god’s wish but at least it is his permission upadrashta anumantacha so whatever has happened nothing happens in my life which is beyond the plan of god so when we understand this somehow our mind gets assured that whatever has happened in my life yes it is a truth but it is not a complete truth it is a half truth and when we understand this slowly slowly whatever happened with me if you forget everything you will forget everything what happened to me whatever happened with me if we do bhakti with shraddha here i feel it happened with me but if we do bhakti then after some time what will happen whatever happened with me what happened to me actually it happened for me it did not happen with me it happened for me so to understand this it may take time it may take 1 day, 1 month, 1 year it may take 50 years but when i am feeling why did this happen to me whatever happened with me it happened for me it made me grow so this view of shraddha here i feel it happened with me it may be bad but it is god’s ability to bring something good and for that we have to move ahead with shraddha so now we will see one incident what is providence the situation which is coming in my life god protects me from that situation so if we see mahabharat story so in mahabharat the first big problem which comes on pandavas what is that problem the first big problem there is one before lakshagraha bheem is given poison so bheem is poisoned so now when this happens we will see what happened when duryodhana comes when duryodhana is born so he is in the palace pandu is not there so pandu’s son is not there so now he is there so everyone sees him as prince prince means every king’s son prince means the next king so when there is a royal family they are worried who will be the next king so the heir is called heir heir means the next heir so when he becomes the next so they are worried if anything happens to him then who will come after him so many times he is born as heir so he wants to have one more child so he becomes the heir and then comes the spare so the spare the spare part of the car if something goes wrong then there should be a backup so the situation of the spare is strange because till the heir is safe there is no possibility But who would want anything bad to happen to my elder brother, to my family? So, when Duryodhan was born, from his childhood he felt that he was the heir, he was the prince. But when Yudhishtir came, then suddenly he felt that he had become a spare. Now everyone is giving credit to Yudhishtir, he is a new boy, who is new? And he was not just new, he was a little cultured, had a good behaviour.
He had a better behaviour than Duryodhan. Duryodhan felt that okay, the behaviour is also a big thing, I am the most powerful. He was the most powerful among the Kauravas.
But when Bheem came, when they used to play in the water, Bheem once threw Duryodhan in the water. Before this, no one had the power, and if there was power, then there was no courage. But when this happened, then he became furious.
What happened to me? Then he started having insecurities. Now everyone has insecurities. If we are good in something, and suddenly someone else comes and he is better than us, then we feel that is there any value for me here or not? If we are the best cook in our family, and suddenly someone else comes and he is better than us, everyone starts praising him.
What happened to me? If we are good in something, and suddenly someone else comes and he is better than us, then the insecurity is natural. Insecurity means, am I good enough? This is the feeling. But sometimes envy comes from insecurity.
Insecurity and jealousy are not the same thing. Insecurity is on itself. Am I good enough? But sometimes envy comes from jealousy.
What is jealousy? Jealousy and respect are the same thing. Is jealousy and respect the same thing? Jealousy and respect are the same thing. Respect means, how good are you? You are so good.
Jealousy means, why are you so good? Why are you so good? When we give respect, we are usually happy. When we are jealous, we are unhappy. Why are you so good? This is the feeling.
Why are you so good? So, it is possible that jealousy comes from insecurity. It is very difficult to avoid insecurity. In our life, some people are better than us.
In the area where we think we are good, someone is better than us. So, it is necessary. But envy is not necessary.
When envy increases, it becomes enmity. Jealousy becomes enmity. Jealousy means mental.
Enmity comes out. You are so good. I don’t want you to be so good.
So, I will destroy you. So, what happened to Duryodhana? What happened to Duryodhana? He had insecurity. Envy came out.
Enmity means, you should not be so good. You should not be so good. So, I will destroy you.
When Duryodhana was a teenager, he made a conspiracy to kill Bheem. When he tried to kill Bheem, what happened? His plan was to call everyone for a feast. When he called everyone for a feast, he said, Bheem, I have prepared some special dishes for you.
He put poison in the special dishes. At that time, Bheem was guileless. He had no doubts.
He ate everything. He fell asleep. It was a slow-acting poison.
If it was a fast-acting poison, he would have died. But it was a slow-acting poison. He fell asleep.
Duryodhana made a plan. He tied Bheem and threw him in the river. He was blindfolded.
He fell into the river. When he fell into the river, Duryodhana liked it. His plan was successful.
At that time, Duryodhana was unconscious. At that time, there were some snakes in the river. Those snakes started to bite Bheem.
When those snakes started to bite Bheem, what happened? There was a situation. The snake’s poison and the human’s poison started to bite each other. When I was in America, I told this story.
Now, everything has Google and ChatGPT. A devotee asked me, Is it possible? A snake’s poison can bite you. When you were giving a class, I was doing research on ChatGPT.
Is it possible? It is a special kind of poison. It is a human’s poison. Normally, one poison does not counter the other.
It is like a vaccine. When you take a small dose of a disease, it returns to your body. It is a mechanism.
It is difficult to replicate it now. The point is, Duryodhana could have given any poison to Bheem. But the poison he gave to Bheem and the snake’s poison, both of them bit each other.
When they bit each other, Bheem came to his senses. He said, The snake is here. He picked up the snake and threw it away.
Normally, humans get scared of snakes. But Bheem was not scared of them. The snake got scared.
He got scared. Then, Duryodhana got scared. He went to Varundev, He said, Another person is here.
He is destroying our area. When he heard his description, he understood who it was. It is Bheem.
I called him there. and then he told Bheem what has happened to you that you were given poison but it’s good that you have come here I want to give you some guava then Bheem was given guava he said that guava what was that it was guava no one could eat more than one pot so Bheem took one pot and asked for two he took three his eyes were wide open how much is he taking two, three, four, ten pots and then he fell asleep I put him in a good bed and Bheem slept for a week for ten days and at that time Duryodhan thought that my plan was successful and he kept showing from outside what has happened to Bheem they were sending search party they were searching the Pandavas were very worried what has happened to Bheem they knew that Bheem was a little adventurous Bheem was a little he liked to take risks so he went somewhere they were searching but there was no sign that he fell from the earth and got up so if someone dies at least there is a corpse if a corpse goes in the river it comes out so there was no sign so they were worried after a week when Bheem came back he came out of the river he was so strong that when he came back the earth started shaking and when the Pandavas saw him and bowed to him Yudhishthira asked him where were you so he told Yudhishthira the whole story Bheem was very angry he said I will go and punish Duryodhan he tried to kill him so Yudhishthira said don’t do anything right now you don’t have any proof that what happened I said this he said that your promise and his promise will be against and now we are new here who will support us we don’t know we don’t want our family to break our family to fight so that’s why we are alert and now we will see what happens so Bheem and Yudhishthira used to fight many times if there are two brothers so what is the similarity between two brothers what is the difference between two sisters so now Yudhishthira and Bheem both are brothers and both are Kshatriyas but there is a lot of difference between them Yudhishthira is like a Brahmin Kshatriya means he has a Brahmin calm nature and if there is any conflict so as much as possible he should avoid bend backward to avoid conflict he should solve it calmly and Bheem is a Kshatriya Kshatriya Kshatriya Kshatriya means he is a Kshatriya squared so so what is it Yudhishthira used to see a chance to avoid a fight and Bheem used to see a chance to get out of a fight so he was itching for fighting so there was a lot of difference and many times in Mahabharata when Bheem and Yudhishthira speak, there is a difference so Bheem was a younger brother so he listened to Yudhishthira but he had to do something to Duryodhana so what did he do he went to Duryodhana Duryodhana do you remember that day you gave me a special Mejwani so Duryodhana when Duryodhana saw Bheem he was shocked how come he is alive and then he realised that I gave him poison and then his mind was working what will I say how will I save myself so Bheem came and said do you remember you gave me that tasty Mejwani so Duryodhana didn’t know what to say so Bheem said that Mejwani was very tasty can you make it again for me so now what happened Duryodhana thought I got a chance again so he made the same Mejwani and brought the same poison but this time Bheem ate so much nectar that his body became immune to that poison and Bheem ate he ate everything with great pleasure and Duryodhana was watching that he will faint he ate everything and he was very happy and he jumped and Bheem jumped and Duryodhana was jealous that what happened so what happened what happened with Bheem that happened for Bheem what happened with Bheem that poison was given but with that poison he became more powerful that happened for him now we can say that here there is a miracle that from one poison another poison broke or he got to drink nectar all these things are miraculous but what is important we have to see the situation the situation that comes in our life the providence sometimes we feel why did this happen to me why did he do this to me but whatever it is it is God’s providence that some situation in our life some situation why did this happen we can call it the reason the cause so this situation why did this happen this is not very important for God for any reason some situation came in our life for that God can use for his purpose so that is why reason and purpose are different so cause can be anything some situation comes in our life it can come for any reason but the purpose God can use in his plan so many times what happens why did this happen why did he do this why did he do this this feeling happens so we get stuck in that why did this situation come in my life and it is important to understand as far as our intellect is concerned but that situation for any reason we can use it God can use it so that his plan can go ahead so we will see many examples the situation that came in our life even if it is a negative situation some problem we call it adversity that problem for any reason God can use it for his plan so I have seen one example that situation came because of malice malice means other people’s bad intentions so who was it the situation that came in Bheem’s life the situation that came in Bheem’s life where did it come from it came from Duryodhan’s jealousy, Duryodhan’s enmity but what happened God used it in his plan so what happened with it Bheem became stronger so why did the situation come in our life it is important to see but sometimes we get stuck in it why did he do this, why did she do that why did I do this but this is important but this is not that important so we will see another example that situation sometimes it does not come because of malice malice means other people’s bad intentions sometimes it comes because of misunderstanding there is some misunderstanding it comes from that so why did the situation come in our life God can use it in his plan there are many examples let us see an example from Ramayana in Ramayana there are three brothers one is four brothers one is three brothers one is two brothers so who are the four brothers Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, Kshatriya who are the three brothers Pramukh, Kunakarnar Sugreev, Vibhishan and who are the two brothers Vali and Sugreev so now we will see the pair of two brothers so Vali and Sugreev are just friends they are brothers and very close but one time there is a misunderstanding there is a misunderstanding there is a demon called Mayavi they are following him so Vali goes to a cave and for a long time he does not come back he does not hear anything he sees blood he hears a demon scream once so Sugreev thinks this demon has killed Vali so to stop the demon he stops the cave and goes back to the kingdom and then the kingdom is consecrated because Vali’s father who is very young now Sugreev becomes the king and then Vali comes out and when Vali sees that the cave is closed he opens the cave with great effort and sees that there is no fight here someone killed Sugreev someone closed the cave and when he goes to the kingdom he sees that Sugreev is sitting on the throne he gets so angry that he starts beating Sugreev Sugreev tries to make him understand but Vali’s anger is so much that he cannot say anything he thinks that I will escape and later I will make him understand but when he escapes Vali thinks that he escaped because he is a thief so that is why he does not give Sugreev a chance and his misunderstanding so there is a misjudgment between Sugreev and Vali but because of this misjudgment there is enmity and later Vali decides that Sugreev tried to kill me and he will try to kill me again so before he tries to kill me I will kill him and then Sugreev while escaping he runs all over the world to escape here and there and everywhere Vali comes or the assassins and Sugreev is not at peace he says to escape from this cave and after escaping all over the world he finds a sanctuary a safe place where is it? in Vishayamukha mountain now this Vishayamukha mountain is right next to Kishkindha so now when he finds shelter there then he he is frustrated and so is Vali Sugreev is frustrated that here I was running all over the world to escape why didn’t I find a place earlier? and what happened to Vali? that the person who has to be killed is right in front of me I am not able to do anything so I was in Singapore I was telling this story there a devotee raised his hand and said like Vali was worried about Sugreev in Vishayamukha mountain China is worried about Taiwan it is right next to us but we are not able to do anything so this is how it happens and later we know how Lord Ram makes Sugreev rule and Sugreev what is he doing? he is sending his soldiers monkeys in all directions and when he is sending them then he is telling them if you go here then this mountain will come and if you go from here it is very difficult if you go from here it is very difficult to cross the river and if you go from there you can cross there are caves here if you go from here you will be trapped and if you go from there you will be trapped so Sugreev is explaining in detail where to go and what to do and Lord Ram is listening and when he is done he goes to Sugreev and asks him was geography your favourite subject in school literally he says there is a lot of knowledge of the world so when Sugreev explains Sugreev says it was not out of interest it was out of necessity but when he is explaining only then Sugreev understands that why did I have to wander all over the world I wandered all over the world and what happened the knowledge I got from that I am able to serve Lord Ram with that knowledge so the situation in our life even if it is due to some misunderstanding we can learn something from that and what happens by learning after learning we can get some help so if we see Prabhupada ji his Gurudev told him to do publicity in English all over the world and Prabhupada ji says that if I would have met my Gurudev one or two years ago if I would not have got married then I would have joined his mission but when I got married and I had a small child he said that it would be unfair for my family so Prabhupada ji from 1922 to 1955 he stays in his house and does his business and after that we know that he does publicity in 1965 and when Prabhupada ji comes back to India in 1970 and when you have to do publicity in India then there is no publicity in India that how to get legal permission how to negotiate with people who ask for price for cement so in all that Prabhupada ji’s disciples see that Prabhupada is so intelligent so for God’s service Prabhupada ji was a sadhu but he had to do a lot of management in publicity he had to see a lot of practical legalities practical logistics and the business that he did all his life the experience that he got all that Prabhupada ji used so what is this that why this situation has come in our life this is important and more important that from that situation God can his plan so what is this misunderstanding this is an example between Wali and Sukriyu so the situation that comes in our life sometimes from the situation God is protecting us but sometimes from that situation whatever is happening from that situation we get some benefit we get ready for that situation third example there is a situation that comes by mistake I said earlier that whatever happens or what I did and what happened with me so the misunderstanding and malice that happened with me that he did this with me he misunderstood me he wanted to destroy me the mistake that we can say that happened with us so we see an example of this that in Mahabharata there is an example that when Durvasa Muni comes to Draupadi’s house and when he comes to Draupadi’s house then Duryodhana manipulates him so Pandavas will be able to take care of you but then when Draupadi has taken food Akshaya Patra will not give anything so Pandavas get worried what to do so then Draupadi says that I will pray to Krishna so she prays to Krishna with all her heart and she prays so sincerely that Krishna himself comes there and when Krishna comes then before this Draupadi asks Krishna Oh Draupadi, I am very hungry give me something to eat so what happens to Draupadi earlier a sadhu has come and she has nothing to eat this is the problem now her own god has come and she is hungry and she has nothing to eat so what happens she prays to god for the solution and the problem increases so what happened so then Draupadi says I don’t have anything to eat that is why I prayed to you so god says go to the panchayat and see if there is anything so what happens there a piece of a branch remains so the story after this is very interesting when god eats a little then all the sages are satisfied yasmin tushtam, jagat tushtam but before that if we see how that piece of a branch remained there if we see if there is an important utensil in our house if someone has a silver utensil or a gold utensil then we keep it very carefully we clean it very well and keep it very well so now this was the most important utensil for them so how did that piece of a branch remain there it was someone’s fault it was not cleaned properly now it could be Draupadi’s fault when she goes to her in-laws so one or two of her maids say that even if you don’t give us any salary we will still be your servants so maybe it was their fault it could be but in the end it is Draupadi’s house so it is her responsibility so we accept it as a fault but what happens with that fault god develops his plan so our mistakes are not Krishna’s plan but Krishna’s plan can advance even through our mistakes we make mistakes it is not god’s plan but god’s plan can go beyond our mistakes so that is why the situation that has come in our life so any situation comes in our life if it is our consciousness it is our consciousness different thoughts can come in our consciousness so what happens in consciousness that situation comes and why that situation has come on that we start thinking the cause of that why did this happen my boss fired me he did this only the reason will get stuck in consciousness so what will happen we will get stuck in it but if we make our consciousness so that we have to see the cause but bigger than cause is that god’s plan god’s purpose will always be done by god so that is why god’s purpose is cause but this is purpose so whatever situation has come in my life because of that god can increase his purpose when we keep this in mind then we are not bitter or insecure yes someone is harassing us so we have to take revenge if we are making mistake again and again so we have to try to correct that so it is not that we don’t have to see the cause we have to see but god can increase his plan so in this the situation that has come in our life how to face that we have to see that according to our destiny god protects us that situation has come in my life but now how to face that situation we have to see that so I will do one more point and then we will take question and answer so what happens what is told in Gita which I will tell in one point it will take 2 hours no it will take this much time but what is there that in one way god’s plan what is that conception of god god protects so we can say that god is protector and if god is protector so god is protector so we become protected so what can happen in this there is police and there is citizen so we are like citizen so god and we are what is there in this in one way if citizen is in danger we have to call police police will come and save everyone police will take care of everyone so this conception is right but it is not complete god is not only protector like god does not tell to Arjun that Arjun what you do I will fight this is my war this is my war so I will do everything you see how I do everything no what god tells Arjun that you do I I am hero and you see my heroism means I am hero and you serve me in my service you also become hero so what is god he is not only protector god is an empower empower means for example if there is a commander or general or top officer so what we are we are soldier we are also warrior we are warrior so commander will also protect his soldier if there is more enemy’s power then he will send reinforcements to support him but this warrior is not passive there is a difference between warrior and civilian civilian does nothing army or police come and save him but warrior he himself fight so protection of god if we keep this feeling that god will see everything then will we become passive so god doesn’t want us to be passive god wants us to be active god empower us the situation in our life what we have to do in that situation we have to take the responsibility we have to use our intelligence to make that decision so god is an empower I will give two examples I have told you you all know when I walk I get crutches when I was one year I got polio my mother took me to polio clinic to give polio vaccine but the vaccine that fridge power supply went off last night because of that the population of that vaccine increased so because of that I got polio when I got polio my uncle he is in America when he got polio as soon as he got to know he called my father and told him to sue the doctor against the doctor against the clinic so now this is the 1970s my father said this is the legal system of India we will get old till the time the court comes now this disease has happened we have to face it so my mother gave me a lot of support I remember when I was 2-3 years old a farmer from far came to me and she told my mother that your child is not well so my mother told her with a lot of confidence that whatever the body needs god will give it so what happened this is not my point but the situation the circumstance you can call it the doctor’s mistake whatever it is but my mother said you need to redirect yourself the body needs a lot of things but redirect yourself What do you say? So it is a Bhagwan You put it in my gym. Yeah, yeah, so it’s a tabseh man, but I mean you’re a cheater.
Yeah, I feel it’s a memory with you again So I’ll be the major America meet up But just a part of that to make a book similar from copy material and I don’t think I need a table He will make a group higher. I don’t know that you should say you will be so I’ll bet I think he’s a monkey but me Garbhavati the tone to hospital military or the pregnancy on a lady to a doctor medical hospital Give us a coach negligence. Oh, yeah I’ll say I don’t go to the church.
I thought it’s a brain both press over at a jada. Oh Pregnancy case I’m a also kind of general house. I was a cerebral palsy.

Yeah Call care free man. Okay. Yeah, I say oh, yeah Yeah, we do a better case out.
Oh, yeah. Hey, yeah, we do a miracle. Okay room face We got a karma.
So much case. We got Karna Yeah who’s a Hospital Okay, I’ll spill the tea to you So yeah, I can’t move your karma. Can I say yeah, what case can I say? So Maharaja name to attack you.

Keep it all Karna. Yeah, tomorrow’s in mid-air Both me Zulu’s mid-air. It’s a bitch in a heart man but you zimmedani Bury Karnik a Agar to make which support me satire So tomorrow Dharma Joe, hey, we’ll put our neck in a support to me.

Can you are So I’ll be booty care or say they go to me. But yeah, I’m happy. Kyah.
Well, I’m happy I’ll be a little key a restore Kuroa Restore my love. Oh, he’ll don’t make us a thing But Management Management Okay, Joby Rolls But Bhagwan Us Better I Say America So Yes It Was Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay Okay I was humiliated. After that I came in the form of Krishna Shastri Doodh.
I also humiliated Krishna. Then Pandavas said, enough is enough. He is not going to change.
So they also rebelled. So in this way, the situations that come in our life, even from those situations, God is actually moving their plan forward. With that, God is making us more capable.
How will that capability be and how will we understand it? It may take time for that. But God is always active in our life. So this is the first situation, the first feeling I saw, how Krishna protects.
How does Krishna protect? That was our feeling. So we saw how Krishna protects through Providence. Providence means how Krishna protects through Providence.
We saw that. So in this, I saw three things, that the story of our life should not be like, I did this and this happened to me. If this happens, we will be very negative.
We have to expand the story of our life. Yes, it is true that I did something and this happened to me. But above all this, there is God.
And what I did, that is also in God’s plan. What was done to me, that is also in God’s plan. Everything is God filtered.
Nothing has happened without God’s plan. So sometimes it can be God’s will, sometimes it can be God’s permission. So in this, we saw, that how, for any reason, when there is some problem in our life, some adversity comes, so we saw how, for any reason, cause can be anything, but what is it? There is a purpose.
Anyone can be a cause, anything. But the purpose is that Krishna can move ahead of his plan. In this, we saw three examples.
The adversity that comes, that adversity came from malice, that is, jealousy, that was the example of Duryodhana and Bheem. The situation that came from misunderstanding, what was the example of that? That was the example of Bali and Sugriv. And that came from a mistake.
So that was the example of Draupadi. So for any reason, God can move ahead of his plan. And then we saw the last example, that what happens in our life, the situation that has come, if that circumstance has come, then Krishna protects us in that.
But the role of Krishna, what is our conception? If we say that we are protectors, then what will happen? We will become passive. What does it mean? Krishna is the protector. It means that we are like a citizen.
And what is Krishna? He is an empowerer. Not only does he protect us, he gives us power. So what happens in this? Then we become active.
So if Krishna is protecting us, what does it mean? In that situation, the situation that has come in our life, that situation has come. But that situation has come from somewhere. What is there in that? That sometimes we have to accept that situation and redirect ourselves.
Like we can’t do anything to this disease. Or we have to restore it. It means that we have to fix it.
Both can happen. But when we work in this way, at one time I felt that this happened to me. This incident happened to me.
If we have faith, then later we will see that this did not happen to me. Whatever happened, it happened for me. So God is our protector.
The situation that comes in our life, God is more active than that. And in every way, he is trying to bring us closer to him. Thank you very much.
Hare Krishna. Any questions? Yes. So what is the meaning of restore? Whatever has gone wrong.
Is it right to keep the mistake as it is? Or should we try to fix the mistake? Or should we take revenge for what has happened? So can it be both? Like when Prabhupada ji was building a temple in Jhansi, so he was building a temple there. And when it was not happening, then Prabhupada ji redirected his energy. He said that if there is no temple here, then we will go somewhere else.
But it was not happening. In Juhu, when the owner wanted to get money, he could not get the land. When it happened like that, then what did Prabhupada ji do? Then only he said, Richard, let’s go somewhere else.
He did not say that. He said, we are not getting that land. We will get it.
We will fight for it. So his right was being disputed. So Prabhupada ji said, No, we will get it.
So what is the meaning of restore? Whatever has gone wrong here, then leave it and go somewhere else. And try somewhere else. Restore means, whatever has gone wrong here, we have to fix it.
Sometimes we can accept that we cannot do anything here. But we are not passive in that. We decide that I don’t want to be active here, but I want to be active somewhere else.
Okay? Thank you. Yes, madam. So, this question, this question was asked in Ramayan itself.
Why was Wali killed like this? Wali himself asks this question. Now Prabhupada ji answers it. So he can answer it in different ways.
But I will take one aspect of it. Now we will see, what is the result of it. The result of it is that, when Wali first argues with Raghupati Ram, that you have done a lot of atrocities, you have done a lot of iniquity, and this Sugriv is iniquitous, and with Sugriv, I have heard a lot about you, and with him, you have also become iniquitous.
You have defamed your entire clan. So, he himself gets angry. But in the end, when Prabhupada Ram answers, what happens after that? Prabhupada Ram says that, if you still feel that, what I did was wrong, then you tell me, I will remove this arrow, and I will give you your life back, I will give you your health back.
So, that is why Sugriv does not ask for it. Sugriv accepts it. So, Prabhupada Ram, we can see different reasons for it, but one reason is that, what Ram does to Wali, what Ram does to Wali, in a way, he wants to give an experience, which Wali did to Sugriv.
The kind of injustice, Wali did to Sugriv, Prabhupada Ram, in the same way, wants to give that experience to Wali, which Wali gave to Sugriv. So, what happens now? Prabhupada Ram is shooting an arrow, but in the same way, what Wali does to Sugriv, is like shooting an arrow in the heart, I am your brother, and you are making such a big accusation on me, you have not even given me a chance to clarify, you are after my life. So, the kind of injustice, Wali does to Sugriv, when the same injustice happens to him, then, it is an injustice on one side, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, So now, to understand what is right and what is wrong, all three have to be seen, that what did he do, why did he do it, and what was the result of it.
So now, what Ram did with Wali, if we look at it from the perspective of content, then it is definitely wrong. A Kshatriya should not do that, but its effect is good. So Wali is not only injured, not only his ego is destroyed, but he realises his mistake.
And this was the purpose of Lord Ram. The beginning of Ramayan is like this, that who is the ideal person, what is the ideal character of a person. So if we see that, from that perspective, it is absolutely unideal, it is the opposite of ideal.
So why should Lord Ram do this? Ideality is subtle sometimes, but the purpose of Lord Ram is not only to punish Wali, not only to kill Wali, but to change Wali’s heart. So sometimes, when he is forced into that situation, then what happens, first of all he gets angry, naturally, but after that, the experience of injustice first hand, that changes his heart. So that is why Lord Ram does this to change the heart.
Thank you. Today’s prasadam is sponsored by Mr. Satrughna Prahlad Magar. I would like to invite Mr. Satrughna Maharaj to receive a small gift from Prabhuji.
We would like to pray to Shri Radha Madan Gopal, Shri Gaur Nithay, Shri Nath Prabhupada, that the grace of God should be on them and their family. We would like to thank them. We will say Haribol.
Haribol. Haribol. This new book is Prayers Inspired by Bhagavad Gita.
In this, on every page there is a beautiful statue of God. Then the shloka of Gita has been translated into a Kavyatmak form. Then on the basis of that, there is a summary prayer, an affirmation, and a prayer of one page.
So in different situations, how can we pray on the basis of Shastras? When we feel lonely, when we feel lost, when we don’t know what to do, when we feel that our desires have increased, when we feel that we are far away from God, we are not interested in devotion. So on the basis of the shloka of Gita, we have prayed for different situations. Many devotees have also said that even while chanting, if they read one shloka, one prayer, then it becomes easy for them to put their mind in God.
So this book is available at the back. And I will be there for a while if you want to sign the book. Thank you.
