Thank you So this devotion can be done in many ways Arjuna was a Kshatriya so his devotion was that when he felt that he should not fight but when God told him that he should fight so he gave up his devotion and did what God told him to do so in the same way when we aspire to so we are trying to verse in our life so Prabhupada used to say that the hippies in America they also did this so I taught them how to do Ekam Sharanam Vajay the hippies were such people so Prabhupada gave up his studies his family everything he gave up but he did not know how to become spiritual so Prabhupada I told him you have to do the Sharanam Vajay so the Sharanam Vajay is a feeling it is a feeling from inside that I am dependent on God for God I am trying to do everything and the work is that we act like God so Prabhupada said in English devotion is devotional service devotional service means not only the feeling of devotion but along with that we act like God Prabhupada once said how do you know that you are Krishna Bhavan Amrit he said when you come to the temple and see God if you feel that God is asking what are you doing for me if you feel that way then you are Krishna Bhavan Amrit so usually we say how much you are worshipping God how much you are doing Japa that is Krishna Bhavan Amrit that is also correct but here Prabhupada said how much you of God how much you feel that I should serve God like we come to the office and the boss asks what did you do today so in a way in a way but this is because of love when we come to the office we do it for money but here we do it with the feeling of love but we should feel that I am going to God and God is asking me what are you doing for me so this feeling this is to dedicate our life to God to God to dedicate our life to dedicate our life to God so this is the reason that even now I feel there is a lot of trouble in the world I want to leave everything and worship God but after some time I will see yes there is trouble in Devotion and in this also but I am enjoying there is nothing here but if I want to save myself from troubles So, if I want to become a Brahmachari, then it is good that we start praying to God in any way, but we don’t keep it permanent. sakrutva rājasam tyāgaṁ nai tyāgaṁ phalaṁ labhēt duḥkha-mṛtyu eva yatkarma kāyakleśa bhayātyet God says that when a person thinks, in Chapter 18, when a person thinks that there are a lot of problems in this world, and I don’t want to face these problems, that’s why I don’t want to face these problems, I want to give up.
God says that there is giving up in Rajoguni. There is enjoyment in Rajoguni and there can be giving up in Rajoguni. So, that giving up is not permanent.
That’s why, with a positive attitude, when we start doing bhakti, I have to do something for God. Now, which service I will do in the future, may not be clear, that’s fine. Whatever service we get inspiration from, whatever facilities we get, we start doing that with a positive attitude.
I have to serve God so much, and I am getting so much time that I have to do this job, I have to do this, I have to do that, and I can spend all my time serving God. That’s why I want to give my life to God. So, when we go with a positive attitude, when problems come, we can face the problems.
That our aim is not to avoid problems. Our aim is to take responsibility for God. So, Bapaji used to say that the more responsibility you take, the more you will progress.
So, when we take responsibility for God, we become very much in love with God. And then, by the grace of God, we can be completely satisfied in His remembrance, in His service. That’s why I still have a desire to become a Brahmachari.
It’s a noble desire. At the same time, if we are still serving, then see what you are interested in in devotion. And in that way, we can go with a positive attitude.
Then it will remain permanent. And God gives us a lot of grace in Brahmacharism. On the one hand, there is a struggle from the heart.
But on the other hand, because we want to serve God, God gives us strength. Sometimes we have a little talent, but by the grace of God, it gets very weak. We have the power to speak a little, but by the grace of God, it will get weak.
We have the power to sing a little, but it will get even weaker. We have the power to serve God, but it will get very weak when we try to serve God. He gives us His grace.
That’s why, if we have two things. One is, if I feel that I am weak, whether I will be able to do it or not. I am a little scared.
Naturally, we can have a little doubt, a little fear. That’s fine. If I feel that I won’t be able to do it, then one is that I don’t have the ability.
But God will give us the ability. If the determination is less, then we get it by purification from God. So, one is, if someone is doing Kirtan, then one is Kirtan with devotion.
And the other is a sweet Kirtan. If both are together, then it is very good. But the most important thing in both is Kirtan with devotion, for God.
So, in that way, even if they don’t have a good Kirtan, a sweet Kirtan, if they do it with devotion, then God will like it. So, what we have is emotion and ability. So, in this, if our emotion is right, whether we have the ability or not, we will be natural in the devotion to God, we will be happy.
And we will also attract others. If we have the ability, then we can attract others with the ability. But what will happen? We can’t be happy only with the ability.
Because the ability is physical. With that ability, when we are in the service of God, when the remembrance of God increases, then we are satisfied. So, the ability is a facility, which is for the service of God.
Whether it is a facility or not, it doesn’t matter. But the emotion is very important. And the more we get the union of devotees, the more the emotion improves.
Whenever you get the union of devotees, there is no effort to get the union. And then, through that, Sangha, Sanjayati, Kama. Our desires increase in the union.
The physical desire also increases in the union. The physical desire also increases in the union. The spiritual desire also increases in the union.
So, there is a lot of benefit in the Brahmacharya Ashram, that we get a lot of union. But there is also another danger, that in many places we see devotees, but we don’t let the devotees hide. Everyone is like this, everyone has devotion.
We don’t give importance to them. So, if our aim is clear, I have come here for the service of God. This devotee has also come for the service of God.
Some devotees are serious, some are not so serious. My aim is to take it seriously. So, what will happen? We have to see in the union of devotees, that which devotees’ union increases my devotion.
And which devotees’ union makes me loose in my devotion. If we see like this, then we get the union of those devotees, we get the inspiration from their union. And then we can be aggressive in our devotion.
We can do devotion with pleasure. That possibility is changing in reality, when we do devotion steadily. So, in summary, I have told you how, one is that when we become devotees, we are living according to the Mahamikam of Sarva Dharma.
We are trying to live. So, in that, one is that, with negative feeling that there is a lot of attachment in this world, a lot of problems, that’s why I want to become a devotee. That’s fine for the beginning.
But if we have to walk on a long path, if we have to walk all our life, then we should have a positive feeling. We have to do something for Bhagwan in devotion. Krishna said, how? When we come in front of Bhagwan, Bhagwan asks us, what are you doing for me? If we have that feeling, then we can do our own research and see, what is my capacity and what is my feeling.
If we can serve according to our capacity, then it is good, we will be happy. But whether we have the capacity or not, Bhagwan can give us the capacity by His grace. But our feeling is important for us.
If our feeling is the feeling of service, then we will serve somewhere and die. We can attract the world with our capacity, but there is no guarantee that we will attract Bhagwan. The best thing is that there is both capacity and feeling.
But the feeling is more important. And we can attract the feeling with the devotees. We can attract Bhagwan with the devotees.
We have to choose the devotees who inspire us. We have to be more active with them. We have to serve them more.
And from there, wherever we are, we will be focused and happy. Okay? Do you have any questions?
