When the intelligence is subtler than the mind why does the Gita ask us to control the mind and not the intelligence – Hindi?

To talk about subtlety, there is subtlety in mind, subtlety in anger, and ego. God repeatedly says, keep your mind centered on me. He does not talk about intellect, nor about ego.

No, it is not like that. Many times we see God saying, I am always free in mind, mother is my disciple. You have both mind and intellect in me.

So, what is the second feeling? That the whole body, is a channel for our consciousness. It is a way for our consciousness. For example, if I am sitting here, and the door is closed, I cannot see what is outside that door.

If the door is open, I cannot see. So, the mind, if we want to see the mind, then the door or the window to see the soul, is closed. So, how is it? Let me give you an example.

Few days ago, I said, suppose there is a monkey, he is sitting in his house, but he is watching a horror movie. So, what happens now? The horror movie is shown on TV. So, on the TV screen, his consciousness is complete.

And if he can see from here, then there is nothing to be afraid of. But if he keeps watching from there, then he gets scared. And when he is not watching from there, there is a hero in the horror movie.

There is a person in the movie, and he is getting scared. So, this person, who is watching the movie, identifies himself with that character. This is how it happens.

So, in that, let's take this example. So, the TV screen, the child who is watching TV, that child is the soul. The TV screen is the mind.

And, suppose if something like this happens, that a pipe or something like this happens, that the child's eyes can only see the TV screen. Meaning, he has the ability to see it, but his vision is blocked. So, that enclosure, the tube, that connects the eyes to the TV screen.

So, that tube is the mind. Meaning, the soul has the ability to think about other things. But, when the mind is blocked, then, it is difficult to think according to the mind.

The false ego is what causes our disidentification with whatever is being shown on the mind. in that, the hero, on whom the scary things are happening, he has no identity. So, in that movie, the hero has no identity.

So, we identify with the intelligence because of the false ego and are subjected to the panorama of emotions which are displayed on the mind. That is why, our mind can be very difficult in this material world. But, in this material world, we can think according to the bhakti of God.

We can see a movie on our computer. Or, we can see God. So, if we see God, what will happen? We will not be able to identify with God.

So, our mind should be directed towards God. We should not close our eyes and see God. If we see God, what does it mean? It means that the consciousness of your soul which is going through a channel, its end will be in God, in me.

So, basically, generally, if we see God, what does it mean? It means that your subtle body should be directed towards God. Thank you very much. We will stop here.
