So, when we are born we go from one life to another life. Different people meet different fates.
Some people are born say physically handicapped, some people, some children die young, some children overcome diseases, live on. What causes this difference or is there any parameter for this? Yes. So, we can consider to be like a water tank.
Now, if there is a water tank, there is a outlet from which water is going out, there is an inlet from which water is coming in. And there is a total quantity of water that is there in the water tank. So, the total quantity of water that is there in the water tank is called the Sanchit Karma, the accumulated karma.
The water that is going into the water tank, that is the Kriyaman Karma. Kriyaman Karma means all of us by doing the actions that we are doing right now, we are creating some karma. If you are doing good, you are getting good results, you are going to get good results.
If you do bad, you are going to get bad results. So, that is like the water going inside. And there is the water that is coming out.
That is in two parts that is called the Prarabdha and Prarabdha Karma. So, Prarabdha means that it is like the vehicle that we get. Some people may have a very smooth car, other people may have an old slow car, some people may have a helicopter.
So, like that all of us have different bodies. Some bodies have a lot of talents and abilities, some bodies don’t have so many talents, some bodies are very good looking, some bodies are not all that good looking, whatever it is. So, this is the starting point that we get.
And then as we are moving around this body, certain things keep happening in our life also. So, now by the Sanchit Karma that is there, that karma comes to us distributed over multiple lifetimes. And supervising this all is the Paramatma, the Supreme Lord.
So, for different people, different portions of that karma may come in different lives. So, for some children say who die at birth or die when they are young, that means by their past karma they were meant to live in this particular body for that much time. And then that particular karma gets exhausted over there when they live in that body and they leave that body.
And then they go on to next body where they continue on their journey. So, what we meet in this life is a result of our Sanchit Karma coming out as the manifestation of that karma. Does it answer your question?
