Is it that there are no goals in life, life itself is a goal? Answer, not exactly that we should settle for less, but that we should seek the best and be ready to leave the rest so that we can get to the best. That means we all need to make choices. If somebody wants to become, say a child has or a child or a boy or a girl has some interest and talent in football, in baseball, basketball and tennis. If the child really wants, if that person wants to really get excellence, they'll have to focus. And to become, say, a top-notch tennis player, they may have to decide that I may play the other games for entertainment. But if I want excellence, I cannot have it in all fields because any one field we go into requires focus. So the point when I said settle for less doesn't mean that we stop seeking, but rather that we don't put our life on hold till we find what we are meant to do in our life. We have to, there are two aspects to it. One is that acceptance of the situation we are in, otherwise we beat ourselves up with resentment and drain our energy and then can't function. The other is that while we are accepting ourselves for where we are, we don't resign ourselves to stay there itself. We move forward from where we are toward your better position and gradually we get there. So yes, life is a journey, but like any journey, we need to make choices. We can't go to all places at the same time. We have to focus on going to one place. If we try to go in four directions, we will end up going nowhere. So if we want to be productive, we need to, any kind of perception requires a restriction of vision. If I had to look at one painting carefully as my vision zeroes in on it, then other things go into the background of my awareness. So it's not so much settling for less as seeking the best and being ready to leave the rest for that. That's how we can, if we think that at each step in life, what I should get is the best, then how do we, sometimes the best may not be available in a particular situation and we may get stuck over there and not move forward. So the examples I had given of how we may be able to, how we may get stuck, not moving forward in the major because in the first year we keep changing majors, not moving to a degree at all. So we keep moving with life and we keep searching throughout life till we get to a point where we find clearly what it is that we are meant to do. So choosing, so not letting anything stop us, not letting any choice paralyze us, that is the key point. And we can always keep refining and revising and improving our choices so that they align more and more with who we are meant to be. But we begin not by letting paralysis by analysis stagnate us, but by making the best choice among the available choices and moving forward in that direction and seizing every opportunity to make better choices thereafter. Thank you.
