Do our past sukritis determine our ability to continue in devotion?

Does our continuing in consciousness depend on our past Sukruti? no what? our past certainly determines something in our life so what does it determine? see we are all products of our past but we don't have to be presumers of our past products of our past means what? what we are? yes the past has shaped us but the past does not have a restricted limit in presumers so and the way out of that prism is largely through life so Sukruti is that we have done in the past, bring us to Krishna lotus feet but after we come to Krishna lotus feet whether we stay on the lotus feet of Krishna that depends on our freedom, it is not that because of the past somebody is forced to go in a mission, it's possible that because of the past a lot of problems may come in one's life it may happen that somebody after coming to bhakti may have some, may get very poor marks in exams, may get some mistakes, may face some financial crisis these actually are just the karmic reactions which are supposed to come they have come but that does not necessarily mean that I have to leave bhakti now we should also have an understanding of leaving bhakti in a very external sense there may be times when a devotee may not be able to physically be in association and sometimes some devotees are very judgmental they start thinking just because this devotee is not in association that means he is following me but it's not necessarily like that Prabhupada, his spiritual master told him to start with Krishna in 1922 but practically for the next 13 years Prabhupada was in one sense able to say coming in association only once a year practically once a year after I was meeting his spiritual master and of course later on in Allahabad and other places then he was very regularly associating but Prabhupada could not suddenly restructure his whole life to follow Prabhupada's spiritual master instructions that now somebody may say, what is Prabhupada doing he is not following his spiritual master so we shouldn't just simplistically think that just because somebody is in our association that means the person is following me we should not think by that I can go out of the association and I am not following that's not the principle see there are exceptions to the rule but when we make the exception the rule then we are abusing it the normal principle is that we should always try to be in association so there are circumstances which may make bhakti less or more difficult but if we take guidance from the devotees then we can always find out how do you practice bhakti even in that circumstance and later on when those circumstances become a little more auspicious then we can intensify our bhakti also so nobody has to leave bhakti because of anything one doesn't have to leave bhakti but yes the magnitude of the bhakti the practice of bhakti may go up and down because of certain circumstances and that is understandable we should not be too judgmental about that of course those who can't stay committed to high standards of bhakti even in difficult circumstances they will make tremendous advance because they are showing that commitment to Krishna in a very extraordinary way but that doesn't mean we look down on those who are not able to show that kind of bhakti you know that actually different devotees are of different nature so they can practice bhakti at different levels and we will be able to accommodate them and overall all the bhaktis transcended here our material circumstances do affect in English there are two words AFFECT and EFFECT so material circumstances can affect our bhakti means they can change certain factors if I have my exams coming up I cannot come to the temple everyday I cannot do as much as I would like to do but they don't have to affect me similarly determined they don't have to stop my bhakti certain forms of bhakti may become critical in certain circumstances that's perfectly okay but overall we can always keep practicing bhakti so if somebody goes away from Krishna then certain circumstances may have made it justifiable in that devotee's mind but ultimately it is that devotee who chooses to go and rather than judging that devotee as someone who has gone away we try to help create circumstances so that a devotee can come was there a question? any other question? yes.
