Does the Dashavatara conception – with aquatics in the start, semi-humans in the middle and humans in the end – support the theory of evolution?

Any dependent on anyone. Question Does the Dashavatar progression with the initial avatars being animals, the intermediate being half-man, half-animals and the final being humans, support a theory of evolution? Answer, not at all. Many Hindus who feel insecure about their beliefs in the face of scientific theories try to defend their beliefs by showing some kind of correlations between those beliefs and contemporary theories.
And similarly, some scientists who want to placate religious believers who may otherwise oppose science, try to find out some correlations between their theories and science and their theories and religious beliefs. So, because of such conceptions on both sides, the idea of correlating the Dashavatar with the Darwin’s theory of evolution comes up. The problem with this correlation is both philosophical as well as circumstantial.
Philosophical in the sense that the avatars the very word avatar means that which descends is called avatar. So avatars exist eternally in the spiritual world and at particular times when there is disorder in the universe they descend to restore order. So, the avatars because they exist eternally it is not that they came at a particular time.
So, Ram, Krishna, these are eternally existing in the spiritual world whereas the theory of evolution holds that the fully developed human form came at a particular time. Now, not only that if you look at it circumstantially the idea is that when aquatics had evolved other human beings had not yet evolved other living beings including human beings had not yet evolved. But if we look at the past time of Matsya avatar at the time of Matsya there are other species also and there is Satyarthmani who is a fully developed human being.
So the both from, so if we look at the circumstances of the various descent of the various avatars we see that all life forms are there over there at that time. So that certainly doesn’t support the theory of evolution. Then why is there some sort of progression between the various, among the various incarnations, the avatars? Actually it’s not a progression.
It’s just a reciprocation and a revelation based on reciprocation. So Matsya avatar appears at a time when the universe is going to, going through a destruction involving a cosmic flood and as fish can live without any discomfort in water. So the lord appears as a fish and rescues the devotees.
Prahalad needed to be protected and because Hiranyakashipu had a benediction that no living being created by Brahma could kill Hiranyakashipu. So the lord appeared in a form that was not created by Brahma in a half man half lion form. So the actually the incarnations of the, the forms of the lord are innumerable, as many as the waves in the ocean as the Bhagavatam describes.
And the dasha avatars are ten important avatars but it is not that they are the only avatars. And if you look at all the many incarnations we won’t find any such progression. So if the ten incarnations have any progression, that is simply, that has got nothing to do with evolution.
That is that the different forms, the lord manifests in different forms to reciprocate with the devotees who are in different situations that need different rescue measures. And similarly, the lord also demonstrates his transcendence by descending in various forms. When the Matsya avatar descends, the Bhagavatam raises the question that a fish is not considered to be a very pure or exalted species.
So why does the lord appear in such a jaganya? In a lower species, low species. So the answer is that the lord demonstrates his transcendence through such appearance. So that is the emphasis.
So there is no need to try to make scientific theories like evolution which are being increasingly questioned even by scientists. There is no need to make such theories compatible and acceptable to religions, to the Hindu world, to the Vedic world view by drawing upon conceptions that have got nothing to, like Dasavatar, have got nothing to do with evolution.
